Roman Reigns’ WWE Survivor Series Match Revealed

Reigns returned on RAW (September 29) to get revenge on Reed and Bron Breakker after their brutal attack at Clash in Paris in August. He didn't only come after the Vision tag team but also ignited an intriguing Bloodline storyline involving Jey and Jimmy Uso.

It seems that the former WWE Champion will be staying around after Crown Jewel to fight against the Vision, whose leader, Seth Rollins, continues to dominate RAW as World Heavyweight Champion. Some envision the duo will meet at WrestleMania 42 next year, after Rollins forced Paul Heyman to turn on Reigns at this year's Mania.

Dave Meltzer gave an update on Reigns' schedule in the upcoming months and claimed that he will be participating in the WarGames match. He said on Wrestling Observer Radio:

"There’s no Roman Reigns/Seth Rollins match before at the earliest January, and I doubt January because I’m sure they’ll both be in the Rumble…He’s [Roman Reigns] definitely doing the San Diego show, but he’s not in a singles match in San Diego, he’s in the WarGames, unless they change."

This will stir up curiosity over the other participants in the WarGames match, but it is usually the main event, and the poster suggests top stars will be involved. On Reigns' side, there are names such as Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, John Cena and Jey Uso, while you'd expect the Tribal Chief to come up against Team Rollins with Breakker and Reed certainties, while Brock Lesnar could be an option given his recent partnership with Heyman.

Fans have responded to the report claiming Reigns will be in WarGames at Survivor Series by predicting who will be on his team and on Team Rollins. There have been some interesting responses but the consensus is that a superteam of the OTC, Rhodes, Punk, Cena and Randy Orton will assemble.

One fan wrote:

"It’s pretty obvious what the teams will be. Roman, Punk, Cena, Cody and Orton vs The Vision, Brock and probably Drew (McIntyre) or a new member."

Another added:

"Almost certain they will do a big superstar dream team with Roman, Cena, Cody, Orton, and maybe Punk at War Games."

One fan is excited to see Reigns try and get revenge on Rollins:

"It's gonna be a war between Roman and Seth and I can't wait!"

Another made a wild pitch:

"Cena, Punk, Roman, (LA) Knight, Jey vs The Vision, Brock, Paul (Heyman)."

Reigns has had issues with every member of the teams proposed by fans during his time as The Head of the Table, which could make for compelling television. This will also be Cena's final PLE match, so it could be an emotional send-off once the cage raises, as he'll be ever closer to his December 13th retirement date.
