The leader of Bread Club is injured. Satoshi Kojima has been pulled from NJPW's Road to the New Beginning shows on February 8 and 9 due to an MCL injury. It's not clear when Kojima suffered the injury. His last match took place on Saturday at MLW Superfight, where he defeated Alex Kane to win the MLW World Championship. Kojima was scheduled to team with El Desperado and Yuji Nagata against SHO, Yoshinobu Kanemaru, & Yujiro Takahashi on tomorrow's show in Fukushima. On Friday, he was to team with Shota Umino and Tomoaki Honma against EVIL, Dick Togo, and Ren Narita. He will be replaced by Ryusuke Taguchi in both matches. Kojima is also scheduled to defend his MLW World title against Minoru Suzuki at Intimidation Games on February 29. Tomohiro Ishii was also pulled from the two Road to the New Beginning shows as he will be traveling to Henderson, Nevada for Saturday's episode of AEW Collision.
