It was sadly confirmed this Thursday that Daniel Moody, the son of WWE legend Paul Bearer, has died at the young age of 39.

Moody's father was best known for being The Undertaker's manager. Unsurprisingly, Moody wrestled on the independent scene. He competed in the ring under the name of Percy Pringle. Unfortunately, he passed away earlier this week.

There was a GoFundMe set up for Moody to get through a "major health crisis." This was after he underwent a procedure in November. That fund will now be used to cover his funeral expenses.

Steve Stasiak of the Book Pro Wrestlers released a heartfelt statement on Moody's death.

"Daniel was the son of Paul Bearer — a man whose voice, presence, and character became part of wrestling history forever. And like so many second-generation names, Daniel carried that connection with him, while also being his own person in the wrestling world," Stasiak said, via the New York Post.

"For those who met him, worked with him, or simply followed along over the years, this one hits on a different level. There’s history there. There’s family there. And there’s a bond to the business that never really leaves. Moments like this remind you how small the wrestling world really is… and how deep those roots go."

Wrestling community is devastated.

The WWE universe lost the great Paul Bearer in 2013 to a heart attack. His wife, Diana, died four years earlier after a battle with breast cancer. Moody's brother, Michael, passed away in 2014, the same year their father was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

"The whole family is gone now. Just sad," one person said.

"Gone too soon. My condolences to his family and loved ones," another person wrote.

Moody is survived by his daughter, Danielle.

Our thoughts are with Moody's loved ones during this difficult time.
