
Following the unfortunate news that "The Celtic Warrior" Sheamus has been pulled from John Cena's Last Time is Now Tournament due to injury, WWE has made changes to the bracket. The following report contains spoilers from last night's SmackDown taping in Denver, Colorado. WWE taped the Black Friday edition of SmackDown to allow talent and crew to spend more time with their family and friends after Thanksgiving.
On the November 21 live edition of SmackDown, Carmelo Hayes (thanks to an assist from Cody Rhodes) and Penta advanced to the quarterfinals. On the taping afterwards, LA Knight defeated The Miz, who replaced Sheamus in the tournament, to advance to the semifinals. Additionally, Jey Uso defeated Rusev to advance to the semifinals.

Cena’s last match will take place on Saturday, Dec. 13, as part of Saturday Night’s Main Event.
With the goal of giving back, Cena announced that WWE main roster stars will face NXT stars in exhibition matches in undercard matches on his special night.
