  • SI's 2025 awards left Becky Lynch off the winners' list.
  • Hangman Adam Page dominates; Mercedes Mone is Female Wrestler of the Year.
  • Lynch finished runner-up in three categories and will likely react publicly.

Let's hope Becky Lynch doesn't see the latest rankings from Sports Illustrated. Considering she believes the publication considers her the greatest of all time, being overlooked this year won't sit well. It happened not just once, but three times.

Sports Illustrated Reveals End-of-the-Year Awards

Lynch is known for saying that she's the greatest of all time and "it's not just her saying it." She's repeatedly noted that Bleacher Report says it and Sports Illustrated says it. Unfortunately, the latter didn't say it this year.

Sports Illustrated has released its 2025 End of Year Awards. Her name is nowhere to be found.

The Results:

  • Storyline of the Year: 'Hangman' Adam Page's Redemption Arc
  • Rivalry of the Year: 'Hangman' Adam Page & Jon Moxley
  • Heel Turn of the Year: Naomi
  • Best on the Mic: 'Timeless' Toni Storm
  • Best in the Ring: Will Ospreay
  • Breakout Wrestler of the Year: Kyle Fletcher
  • Comeback Performer of the Year: Ilja Dragunov
  • Tag Team of the Year: FTR
  • Match of the Year: IYO SKY vs. Rhea Ripley vs. Bianca Belair - WWE WrestleMania 41
  • Show of the Year: AEW Double or Nothing 2025
  • Female Wrestler of the Year: Mercedes Moné
  • Male Wrestler of the Year: 'Hangman' Adam Page
  • Promotion of the Year: All Elite Wrestling
  • The 2025 Legacy Award: John Cena

Mercedes Mone won Female Wrestler of the Year, leaving Lynch on the outside. She came in as a runner-up in three categories: Best on the Mic, Comeback of the Year, and Heel Turn Of The Year.

Expect Becky Lynch To Have A Response

Of late, Lynch has been all about the awards. She's been self-promoting the fact that she won the Inaugural Internet Integrity Award and the VLOG of the Year. There are likely more coming, but the fact she fell short on Sports Illustrated's rankings will be something the likely irritates her to no end.

In her eyes, she's the best at everything. The fact that she didn't win a single award and was name in third place in three different categories is likely something fans will never hear the end of.
