Steve Austin on 3/16 WWE Raw?: What Stone Cold Could Do on Monday

This Monday on RAW, it will be March 16th. The number 3:16 is memorable in WWE as the legendary Austin 3:16 slogan, which was coined by one of the biggest stars in wrestling, Stone Cold Steve Austin. Austin has appeared on RAW before, on March 16th, when WWE held its first episode during the COVID-19 worldwide lockdown. During that appearance, Austin still helped RAW put on a good show, given the limitations they had at the time.

With no pandemic in the way, WWE could finally have Austin appear on 3:16 Day with fans actually in attendance. If Austin were to show up, WWE should find a way to apply Austin to help elevate any of RAW’s current storylines heading into WrestleMania. Here are some ideas for WWE if Austin returns on Monday.

Segment with The Vision

Since The Vision’s prominent members are sidelined due to injury, this leaves Logan Paul and Austin Theory at a disadvantage. This could be a great opportunity for them to make an impact at Stone Cold’s expense. Paul and Theory can interrupt Austin before attempting a two-on-one beatdown.

Although Austin can easily handle his own, LA Knight could still come out for their own personal agenda towards The Vision. Austin can close by delivering “Stone Cold Stunners” to both Paul and Theory before sharing drinks with Knight. This would leave Theory and Paul with even more bad results without the rest of The Vision members.

Encounter Brock Lesnar

A few weeks ago on RAW, Brock Lesnar issued an open challenge against him at WrestleMania. Stone Cold’s music can hit, leaving the fans thinking he’ll take the challenge. Instead, Austin talks with Lesnar, where he recaps their past with one another over 20 years ago.

From there, Austin will use this time to put an up-and-coming wrestler over by introducing him. The person who shows up is Oba Femi, leaving the fans in more excitement as they’ve anticipated this match to happen.

Face Off with Gunther

A possible segment between Stone Cold Steve Austin and Gunther would bring so much attention. It would be an encounter between WWE’s top babyface in the past and one of WWE’s top heels in the present. Stone Cold can start by celebrating “Austin 3:16” Day, before Gunther interrupts him.

This would lead to loud boos as Gunther speaks to the WWE Hall of Famer. Gunther can mention that if Austin were still wrestling, he’d be another legend he would retire. Words will be traded until Gunther is challenged by a different Hall of Famer, Rey Mysterio. Gunther can accept Rey’s challenge at WrestleMania if he puts his career on the line.

Mediate Potential CM Punk and Roman Reigns Confrontation

For the past couple of weeks, CM Punk and Roman Reigns have been getting personal with one another. With Reigns also scheduled to appear on RAW, it’s obvious he has a lot to get off his chest in response to CM Punk’s “pipe bomb” towards him.

With the chance that Reigns might call out CM Punk for a brawl, Stone Cold could mediate a segment between the two. Austin can help RAW General Manager Adam Pearce out by hosting a contract signing for the main event of WrestleMania.
