The Hurt Syndicate entered AEW: All In as the AEW Tag Team Champions and they have exited the event with the titles after their three-way match as they defeated JetSpeed (Kevin Kelly and Speedball Mike Bailey) and The Patriarchy (Christian Cage & Nick Wayne). There was a lot of intriguing storis throughout the match and the three-way match allowed a lot of talent to shine, but the AEW Tag Team Titles stay with The Hurt Syndicate. Let’s take a deeper dive into what happened during the match and what it means going forward.

The Hurt Syndicate Retain AEW Tag Titles

The Hurt Syndicate had a massive day at AEW: All In as MJF won the men’s Casino Battle Royal and the team of Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin retained their tag team gold. The group had a special entrance as Smoke DZA, West Side Gunn, and MVP sang the entrance theme heading to the ring. The match was exciting and we also had FTR on commentary for the match to add an additional wrinkle as we get some story going on.

The ending of the match saw Bobby Lashley get physical with FTR at the commentary desk and hit Christian Cage with a spear to win the match. However, the match saw a lot of high-flying action and interference with Kip Sabian and MVP at one point getting involved, but not MJF and that can add an additional wrinkle. Now, there is a lot of different things as FTR can challenge for the AEW Tag Team titles or even a reunited team of wrestling veterans.

The Hurt Syndicate continue to look dominant and they continue to make the tag team division look stronger by being champions. It will be interesting to see what happens next with the AEW Tag Team Championships.
