  • The Rock may make an appearance at WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas according to insider reports.
  • Uncertainty surrounds The Rock's potential involvement in the Cena vs. Rhodes bout.
  • Presence of The Rock, Cena, Cody, and Austin at WrestleMania could create an epic ending.

He hasn't been on WWE programming since he worked with John Cena to turn heel, but WrestleMania is WrestleMania and there is a belief that The Rock will be making an appearance. According to an insider report, the Final Boss may be on hand in Las Vegas as part of the company's biggest weekend of the year.

The Rock Scheduled To Appear?

According to @WrestleVotes, "FWIW: There’s growing speculation that some within WWE are expecting The Rock to show up at WrestleMania this weekend. Viva Las Vegas!

The assumption is that he may get involved in the John Cena vs. Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41 bout, but there is no guarantee that is the creative plan, nor has his status for Mania actually been confirmed. The way he's been using himself creatively, it's hard to know if he plans to insert himself into the storyline or not. Cena hasn't referenced The Rock in his promos on Raw, leaving many questions unanswered about their connection. Was it a one-time deal, or are these two still working together?

If The Rock does help Cena, it seems logical to assume that Cena might walk away with the WWE Championship, fulfilling his promise to take the title and try to make it mean nothing by leaving WWE with it when he retires. At some point, fans will want an explanation as to why Cena would align himself with The Rock. WrestleMania may not be the time or place to explain their connection, but if The Rock appears at WrestleMania, he may also show up on Raw and provide more answers.

WrestleMania Should Be Loaded

There is also talk that Steve Austin might appear, seeing as the location if the event is close to his ranch in Nevada. He has publicly offered to help Cody if The American Nightmare asks. That would set up one of the greatest endings in WrestleMania history, should The Rock, Cena, Cody Rhodes, and Austin all be involved.

It's essential to note that The Rock's plans change daily, as does his creative vision. It's hard to imagine WWE changing the finish of their main event should The Rock show up, but it's hard to rule anything out. After all, he is the Final Boss.
