Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has gotten some good news regarding his elbow injury. Earlier this week, Johnson revealed that his elbow got banged up while filming scenes for his upcoming movie “The Smashing Machine.” His elbow was badly swollen and Johnson joked that it looked like it had a cantaloupe in it. Johnson was able to get his elbow evaluated after the swelling went down. In an update posted to his Instagram account on Thursday night, Johnson said the injury is a ruptured bursa sac. It will eventually heal, and there is no significant tissue damage. “No extensive tissue damage. Ruptured bursa sac that will eventually heal,” he wrote. “I’ve had much worse, and as always let pain – and tequila – be the guide Back to work.” “The Smashing Machine” is a biopic on MMA legend Mark Kerr. Johnson and his Seven Bucks Production company have partnered with A24 Films for the movie. It stars Johnson and actress Emily Blunt.
