TNA “Emergence” emanated from Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena in Baltimore, and there were some high-stakes matches. WWE “NXT” star Trick Williams put the TNA World Championship at stake against Moose. The X Division title was also at stake, as was the Knockouts tag team gold and the men’s tag championship.

Leon Slater (c) vs. Cedric Alexander – for the TNA X Division Championship

Cedric Alexander worked the back of Leon Slater early on. The champion went for a handspring back elbow, but his back gave out. This allowed Alexander to plant him with a German suplex. Alexander delivered a powerbomb into a fisherman’s buster suplex for a near fall.

Slater regained momentum by countering a superplex attempt. He later hit Big Play Slater onto the challenger. In the ring, Slater caught Alexander in a Styles Clash. He then went high-risk and delivered the Swanton 450 to retain his gold.

After the match, both Slater and Alexander embraced in a show of mutual respect.

Trick Williams “Apologizes” to Moose’s Mother

Gia Miller interviewed Trick Williams, who was with AJ Francis and Rich Swann of Fir$t Cla$$. Williams apologized to Moose’s mother for calling her out. He then apologized again because he vowed to whoop her son.

Mustafa Ali w/Order Four vs. Matt Cardona

Mustafa Ali charged in and ducked under a strike from Matt Cardona. Ali bounced off the ropes, and he was dropped by a clothesline. Cardona delivered a missile dropkick to Ali.

Cardona looked to put Ali away with Radio Silence, but he was countered by a sitout powerbomb for a two-count. Ali sent Cardona into the corner and charged in, but Cardona got his boots up. Jason Hotch got on the apron, but Cardona sent his back crashing onto the canvas.

John Skyler entered the ring, but Cardona took him out with Radio Silence. Cardona delivered a boot to Hotch in the corner, but Ali capitalized by nailing him with a dropkick. Ali then hit Cardona with a splash, but he was caught in a crucifix pin and couldn’t get out before the three-count.

Winner: Matt Cardona

After the match, Order Four attacked Cardona before The System ran out for the save. Brian Myers and Eddie Edwards clotheslined Agent Zero out of the ring.

Brian Myers and Eddie Edwards vs. Fir$t Cla$$

Myers knocked AJ Francis off the apron and hit Rich Swann with a back elbow. Myers threw Swann out of the ring, but Francis caught him. Francis argued with Alisha Edwards outside of the ring, allowing Swann to send Myers crashing into the ring post.

Francis was tagged in, and he nailed Myers with Tennessee Whiskey. Swann then landed a cartwheel standing moonsault. Order Four eventually ran out, and Myers took out the field with a flying elbow. Tasha Steelz jumped on JDC’s back, but Alisha knocked her to the floor.

Edwards took out The Great Hands with a suicide dive. Agent Zero landed a double-handed chokeslam on Edwards right onto the edge of the ring apron. Zero then sent Myers back into the ring. This allowed Francis to hit Down Payment to score the win for his team.

Say His Name And He Appears

Joe Hendry made his entrance despite not being booked for a match on the “Emergence” card. Hendry joined the commentary team and said he was out to witness Mike Santana take on Sami Callihan in person.

Mike Santana vs. Sami Callihan

Before the match began, Sami Callihan said that if he goes down, he’ll go down swinging. He then suggested to Mike Santana that they turn their match into a street fight. Santana agreed to the new stipulation.

Santana nailed Callihan with an enzuigiri. He charged in, but Callihan caught him in a Stunner. Santana recovered, and he landed a springboard moonsault to the outside. Back in the ring, Callihan grabbed a staple gun and stapled the chest of his opponent. He then stapled Santana’s armpit.

Santana dove from the middle rope, but Callihan countered into a powerbomb. Callihan landed the Cactus Driver, but Santana kicked out. Callihan’s momentum came to a crashing halt as he was hit with the Spin The Block and pinned.

Winner: Mike Santana

After the match, Callihan and Santana embraced. Callihan left his boots near the center of the ring and made his exit. The fans chanted, “Thank you, Sami.”

Joe Hendry and Eric Young Have A Run-In

Backstage, members of the TNA locker room congratulated Callihan after his final match. Eric Young intervened and told Callihan that nobody who is embracing him now ever cared about him. Joe Hendry told Young to back off. Young responded by blaming Hendry for starting “NXT’s” takeover of TNA Wrestling.

Lei Ying Lee Signs New TNA Contract

Tommy Dreamer, Carlos Silva, Lei Ying Lee, Xia Brookside, and Masha Slamovich were in the ring. Dreamer revealed that TNA is offering Lee a contract extension. Lee signed the deal, and Silva congratulated her.

The Elegance Brand (c) vs. Lei Ying Lee and Xia Brookside vs. Fatal Influence vs. The IInspiration – for the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship

Jessica McKay delivered a knee to the midsection of Fallon Henley. She went for a pin attempt, but she couldn’t secure a three-count. Heather by Elegance and Jazmyn Nyx were the legal competitors. Heather grabbed Nyx’s leg and spun her around for a pin attempt. Nyx got out of it and landed a kick to the chest.

M by Elegance held McKay in a stretch position, allowing Ash to deliver a double foot stomp. Mara Sade appeared and got into a brawl with Jacy Jayne. This eventually led to Jayne, Slamovich, and Ash by Elegance trading strikes.

McKay hit a crossbody on Fatal Influence. Cassie Lee landed a superplex on M. All teams traded finishers before M struck Lee with one half of the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship to secure the win.

Indi Hartwell Shuts Down Dani Luna’s Proposal

Indi Hartwell was backstage with Dani Luna discussing her victory over Rosemary on the pre-show. Luna told Hartwell that they make a great team, but Hartwell said her goal is the TNA Knockouts World Championship.

Steve Maclin (c) vs. Jake Something – for the TNA International Championship

Frankie Kazarian was on commentary for the match.

The challenger went for a powerbomb early, but Steve Maclin countered and landed some slaps to the face. Maclin then landed a back elbow, followed by an Olympic Slam. The champion went for a suicide dive, but he ran right into a forearm.

Something got in Kazarian’s face before planting Maclin with Into The Void. Maclin was planted with a powerbomb on the steps. Back in the ring, Maclin rebounded and looked to catch Something in the crosshairs, but the challenger caught him in a choke.

Maclin fought out of the hold and caught Something in the crosshairs before delivering K.I.A. for the three-count. Gia Miller tried to get a word with “Bulletproof” after the match, but Kazarian confronted Maclin. The champion forced Kazarian to back off after a match proposal.

The Hardys (c) vs. The Rascalz – for the TNA World Tag Team Championship

Jeff Hardy and Myron Reed had both a shoving match and a dance-off in the early going. Matt Hardy was tagged in, and he sent Reed over the top rope. Reed landed on the apron and kicked Matt before landing a leg drop over the top rope.

Jeff got a hold of Reed and planted him with a superplex. Zachary Wentz landed his own Swanton Bomb on Jeff. Matt hit a flying elbow from the middle rope onto Wentz.

Reed attempted Flame On, but Jeff landed on his feet and prevented Reed from finishing the cutter. Jeff threw Reed into Matt, who landed a Twist of Fate onto the floor. Back in the ring, Jeff landed the Swanton Bomb on Reed for the win.

The System Takes Over Fir$t Cla$$ Penthou$e

AJ Francis and Rich Swann were out for a new edition of the Fir$t Cla$$ Penthou$e. They were interrupted by Poe, who is the mascot for the Baltimore Ravens, and The System. Alisha Edwards was going to do her signature catchphrase, but Francis cut her off. Alisha slapped Francis, who was being held back by Swann as the segment ended.

Trick Williams (c) vs. Moose – for the TNA World Championship

Trick Williams leaped over Moose in the corner and went for a leg lariat, but the challenger ducked under. Moose then scaled up the top turnbuckle and landed a crossbody. Williams caught Moose in a flapjack and taunted him. Moose placed the champion on the top turnbuckle and connected with a chop to the chest. The challenger landed a superplex and rolled through, but Williams countered with a vertical suplex. The action spilled outside of the ring.

Moose charged in, but Williams sent him crashing through the timekeeper’s table with a back body drop. Williams accidentally took out the referee. Moose hit a spear, but there was no in-ring official to make the count. Williams landed a Trick Shot, but Moose kicked out of the pin attempt. The challenger landed a headbutt, but he couldn’t find the spear. This allowed Williams to hit two more Trick Shots for the victory.
