TNA iMPACT Preview (12/11/25) – The Fallout From TNA Final Resolution
Courtesy of TNA Wrestling

TNA Final Resolution 2025 finished a year 2025 of PLEs in the best possible way. We have new players in the iMPACT Zone, with Bear Bronson, the team of CW and Brock Anderson, and The Righteous. Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo, Santino Marella’s future son-in-law, not only became the new TNA International Champion, but he also attacked Marella. Furious, our Milan Miracle made a Steel Cage match between NXT Outlaws and TNA talents.

Last night on NXT, Leon Slater may not have won the Iron Survivor Challenge at NXT Deadline, but he has won two chances to make a huge WWE/NXT statement. Slater and Je’Von Evans will face the team of Dragon Lee and AJ Styles at Saturday Night Main Event XLII in a blockbuster match. Also, Slater, Joe Hendry, Dion Lennox, and Myles Borne will collide in a Fatal 4-Way Match next Tuesday on NXT to determine who will challenge for the NXT Championship at NXT New Year’s Evil.

Crossing the lines also means crossing the reviews. NXT may be a WWE show; taking a look at what happens on Tuesday nights has become essential to understanding what may happen on Thursday nights. That’s never been truer, and it keeps on being bigger and bigger. Let’s Nygma-dive into it.

The Stakes at TNA Wrestling

Weeks of escalating animosity between Dani Luna and Indi Hartwell reach a breaking point when they’re literally chained together in a brutal Dog Collar Match. Luna brought calculated malice to the Knockouts Division, but Hartwell has proven she won’t back down. After getting involved in each other’s matchups, there’s nowhere to run and nowhere to hide.

The all-important numbers advantage in the Steel Cage match next Thursday will be on the line when Matt Cardona, representing Team TNA, battles Lexis King of the NXT outsiders. What will they be willing to sacrifice to swing momentum in their team’s favor, and who will fire the first shot?

The Elegance Brand continues its high-maintenance takeover of the Knockouts Division, alongside the Personal Concierge. One thing remains clear after Final Resolution: their sights are set on the Knockouts World Tag Team Titles. But Harley Hudson and Myla Grace won’t let the spotlight seekers cut the line. Can Grace & Hudson hand the glamorous pair a reality check with a statement victory?

While The System prepares to say goodbye to JDC this January, they will step into the ring with the rising Sinner & Saint on iMPACT!. Can the violent young duo pull off the biggest upset of their careers and disrupt TNA’s most powerful alliance? Or will Myers and Edwards prove why you ALWAYS trust The System?

After the shocking arrival of The Righteous and the Steel Cage combat looming just one week away, TNA World Tag Team Champions Jeff and Matt Hardy have plenty to say before stepping into one of the most dangerous matches in wrestling.

A stacked field fights for a golden ticket to the X-Division Championship as Jake Something, Cedric Alexander, Ryan Nemeth, B.D.E., Jason Hotch, and Dezmond Xavier collide. With the X-Division hotter than ever, a win here could change everything. Who earns the shot at The X-Division title?

The Nygma’s View

With five matches and a segment, I think the recipe for a good show is there. It’s a Fallout episode, so we will, at the same time, face the Final Resolution aftermath and what’s going to come next, on the road to TNA Genesis.

Dani Luna faces Indi Hartwell again, but in a Dog Collar Match. Both Knockouts have turned unhinged. Luna is desperate to become the TNA Knockouts World Champion, to the point of attacking Léi Ying Lee at Final Resolution. Hartwell, in her quest for the title, had to find her own craziness to stop Luna. Nygma says: There will be a winner, and there will be blood.

The Hardys have some things to say. At Final Resolution, The Righteous stopped the TNA World Tag Team Champions’ celebration. Vincent and Dutch are particularly fond of mind games. Nygma loves them too, but Nygma says: Honestly, The Righteous, The Hardys, TNA Genesis, TNA World Tag Team Championship. You got it?

Jake Something, Cedric Alexander, Ryan Nemeth, B.D.E., Jason Hotch, and Dezmond Xavier face off for an X-Division title shot. The match is appealing, but half of these wrestlers already had a title chance. BDE is not “really” a wrestler. When it comes to Ryan Nemeth, no chance. Nygma says: The only one remaining is Dezmond Xavier, and Slater vs. Xavier would be a monumental bout.

Some Teams Things

The Elegance Brand faces Harley Hudson and Myla Grace. I could write a ton about it (irony), but we know who is cheating, lying, stealing, with or without Ash by their side. Nygma says: Don’t suddenly expect to see Heather and Maggie have a true wrestling match. Forget about the Twin magic; they have the Cheat magic.

NXT’s Lexis King and Matt Cardona compete for the advantage in the upcoming NXT vs. TNA Steel Cage match. Both men made a statement at Final Resolution. Cardona defeated Mance Warner in a glorious Street Fight. King helped Stacks become the TNA International Champion. Nygma says: TNA won’t have the advantage. Stacks will give back to King what King gave him last Friday.

The System faces Sinner & Saint. Brian Myers already challenged the team at TNA Open Fight Night, as well as The Rascalz and The Great Hands. That night, Travis Williams and Judas Icarus were really impressive, and the bout was stunning. There’s no reason for this match not to be good. Nygma says: Nothing, I will just enjoy the bout.

I’ll see you on Friday. Surgery time turned into recovery time in Nygma land, so I’m back. Stay tuned as I spoke to Order 4’s Tasha Steelz earlier this week. Till then, may the Nygma be with you.
