TNA iMPACT! Preview (6/12/25) – Against All Odds Fallout
AEW

At TNA Against All Odds , things didn’t really change. Trick Williams is still the TNA World Champion, so you won’t know why Trick-NA makes me laugh.

NXT’s Robert Stone didn’t defeat my beloved Milan Miracle, Santino Marella. As always, Steve Maclin and Masha Slamovich made magic in the ring and retained.

The fallout from Against All Odds spilled over into this week’s edition of WWE NXT. Last night, we learnt that Trick Williams and First Class will face Elijah, Josh Briggs, and Yoshiki Inamura on NXT next Tuesday. For the moment, let’s take a Nygma look at this week’s TNA iMPACT episode.

  • The Hardys vs First Class (KC Navarro and AJ Francis)

  • TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella kicks off TNA iMPACT!

  • First Class Penthouse with TNA World Champion NXT’s Trick Williams
  • TNA International Champion Steve Maclin sounds off

The Stakes at TNA Wrestling

TNA World Champion and NXT’s Trick Williams returns to the iMPACT Zone this Thursday on a new edition of First Class Penthouse. After surviving Elijah at Against All Odds, thanks in part to A.J. Francis, what will Williams, KC Navarro, and A.J. Francis have to say?

Jeff & Matt Hardy step into battle against First Class in a tag team showdown. After costing Mike Santana the TNA World Title and ambushing him in the Penthouse, First Class now has the full attention of The Hardys. Vengeance is coming this Thursday night.

After making a shocking face-to-face appearance against The Elegance Brand at Against All Odds, The IInspiration steps into the ring with a point to prove, and a Knockouts tag division to reclaim.

The newly reinstated Director of Authority, Santino Marella, kicks off TNA iMPACT after outsmarting Robert Stone and reclaiming control of TNA. What will Santino have to say as TNA enters the Road to Slammiversary?

Indi Hartwell, the returning Killer Kelly, Jody Threat, Tasha Steelz, Rosemary, Dani Luna, Tessa Blanchard & Xia Brookside collide in a high-stakes 8-4-1 Match. Eight Knockouts will first compete in 4 vs. 4 tag team action, then the winning team faces off in a 4-way with everything on the line. Only one will walk out with a TNA Knockouts World Title shot.

After surviving Mance Warner with the TNA International Championship intact, Steve Maclin sounds off this Thursday. Also, after falling just short of taking the TNA International Title from Steve Maclin, Mance Warner and Steph De Lander speak out.

The Nygma’s View

Four segments and four matches announced is a strange balance, but a classic fallout one. Some chapters have to be closed, some have to be opened.

AJ Francis and KC Navarro trust this week’s show with a First Class Penthouse and a match against The Hardys. They invited TNA World Champion NXT’s Trick Williams to the Viper’s Tongue Penthouse. The new “best friends” will probably say Arizona is crap, gloat at Elijah, talk Trick-NA.

Don’t expect Santana to attack, as he didn’t take part in the tapings. Nygma says: I wish Elijah took First Class’ ears off with a song, so Francis and Navarro could stop Elijah with his guitar by exploding it on his head. If the segment happens before the match, Elijah could easily be involved and help The Hardys.

Trick Williams could also be involved and help First Class. Nygma says: There will be a match, but there will be a brawl too.

The 8-4-1 concept is pretty interesting because of the enemies supposed to be allies. Indi Hartwell and Tasha Steelz are on one team. Rosemary and Xia Brookside are on the other team. Dani Luna and Jody Threat are not on the same team.

Whatever happens, (almost) every Knockout involved is worthy of a title shot. Nygma says: Tessa Blanchard already had her chance, so let the others eat cake.

Cassie Lee and Jessica McKay, together known as The IInspiration, are back in TNA Wrestling. Together, they are ready to capture the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship. Nygma says: As long as we’re rid of The Elegance Brand.

Leon Slater pinned Moose in the 8-Man match at Against All Odds, which makes him a natural #1 contender for the X-Division Championship. He faces Jason Hotch, with John Skyler by his side.

The match is meant to be a must-watch, as long as Mustafa “Dirty” Ali doesn’t interfere. Nygma says: When The System is utterly predictable, Dirty Ali is unhinged.

I told you many times there could only be one Sheriff in town. The Milan Miracle Santino Marella is and remains the Super Sheriff of TNA Wrestling.

Whatever he says to kick off the episode, I take it. Nygma says: In my town, Marella will always be THE Sheriff.

Mance Warner and TNA International Champion Steve Maclin will both make their voice heard. Of course, Warner will be furious because he came up short at Against All Odds. When it comes to Maclin, it could only be a “who’s next?”

Nygma says: Remember what I told you about Tommy Dreamer, Mance Warner, and Steph De Lander last week. About Steve Maclin, a little bird tells me a new contender could emerge, Something like that…

The Road to Slammiversary starts now, and it will be an epic 6-iMPACT ride. I’ll see you on Friday for  TNA iMPACT “After The Bell.” Till then, may the Nygma be with you.
