TNA iMPACT Preview (9/4/25) – Live From The Armory

The Path to TNA Bound For Glory may be raging on, but Victory Road is in 3 weeks. On September 26, a new PLE takes place live from the Edmonton Centre in Edmonton, AB. The cards may be reshuffled, and we have three TNA iMPACT episodes to set the stage for this.

On the September 2 episode of NXT, TNA Wrestling’s Xia Brookside battled Candice LeRae in the first round of the No. 1 Contenders Speed Tournament. Brookside took LeRae to her limit, but in the end, it was LeRae who scored the victory with less than 30 seconds remaining.

Then, TNA World Champion Trick Williams called himself the greatest star in NXT history when he was confronted by Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa, aka DIY, who were celebrating the 10th anniversary of their NXT debut. A heated verbal exchange turned physical as DIY took out Williams with a pair of superkicks.

To cap off the night, Hank and Tank said his name, so Joe Hendry helped them overcome DarkState in an eight-man tag team main event. Usually, crossing the lines also means crossing the reviews. Victory Road or Bound For Glory may be TNA PLEs, taking a look at what happens on Tuesday nights has become essential to understand what may happen on Thursday nights.

Then, a major TNA title remains in the hands of an NXT talent. What remains terribly eNYGMAtic…

TNA iMPACT Preview – Segments Announced

  • We’ll hear from Joe Hendry
  • The Elegance Brand Knockouts World Title Celebration

The Stakes at TNA Wrestling

Ash By Elegance shocked the world at WWE Heatwave, defeating Masha Slamovich and Jacy Jayne to bring the Knockouts World Championship back to TNA. Now, the new champion promises an extravagant “Elegance Brand” celebration live in Minneapolis. What will Ash and her entourage have planned for the Knockouts division, and will any challengers dare to step up?

Three of the Knockouts division’s most dangerous competitors collide for a shot at the Knockouts World title. Indi Hartwell is looking for her first taste of Knockouts gold, Jody Threat brings her relentless intensity. Still, all eyes are on Dani Luna, whose ruthless new attitude has shaken the iMPACT! Zone. Who will earn a championship opportunity?

Two veterans. One ring. For the first time in Minneapolis, Matt Cardona returns to the iMPACT! Zone, determined to make an immediate statement, but standing in his way is “The King of TNA” Frankie Kazarian. With Bound For Glory on the horizon, both men are hungry for momentum.

Eric Young may have left Joe Hendry lying out backstage, but you can’t keep Hendry down for long. After helping Hank and Tank overcome DarkState in an eight-man tag on NXT, the unpredictable Joe Hendry addresses the TNA faithful in Minneapolis. What will he have to say about Eric Young’s attack, and how will Young respond?

The rivalry between The Great Hands, Tasha Steelz, Mara Sadé, and The Hardys has reached its boiling point. The numbers game gave Steelz the edge over Sadé last week, but the tables could turn as The Hardys team with Sadé to face Order 4 in a blockbuster six-person tag. With Bound For Glory approaching, The Hardys want payback and to send a message straight to Team 3D.

The Nygma’s View

This TNA iMPACT is live, which means totally unpredictable. With four matches and two segments, I feel like TNA may surprise us with another bout or two (I have my little idea about that. Two words: The System). I told you the last two weeks I couldn’t play with TNA’s own preview to give you my preview. What a surprise to see it online at 9.30 PM GMT. This company is so Nygma…

The Elegance Brand celebrates the success of their leader, Ash by Elegance, the third Knockout in history to become both TNA Knockouts Tag Team and World Champion. As I said last week, I wasn’t surprised to see her win. Then, that doesn’t make me happy, and I’m sure I’m not the only one. Nygma says: Elegance Brand means some hairspray and hairbrushes. If there’s a cake involved, be sure the IInspiration will want to make The Elegance Brand taste it.

Matt Cardona faces Frankie Kazarian in a surprising match, as nothing seemed to oppose them the last few weeks. Frankie Kazarian is the King of TNA. Matt Cardona is one of the most versatile and unpredictable players in the iMPACT Zone. Nygma says: It will be a classic match, for sure. The why here is a bit more complex. Nygma thinks the TNA International title may be involved.

The Hardys and Mare Sadé face Tasha Steelz and The Great Hands. On paper, the TNA World Tag Team Champions, even with a young Knockout like Sadè, would look bad losing against Steelz, Jason Hotch, and John Skyler. Also, remember Nic Nemeth is back from suspension this week. Nygma says: Let’s be honest, if Agent Zero is at ringside, the Hardys and Sadé will regret having come that night. Meanwhile, the Nemeths will be happy to reunite and reclaim the rematch they have asked for.

Indi Hartwell allowed Dani Luna to insinuate herself into her match against Jody Threat. She may have made a huge mistake that could cost her the title chance. Luna blew a fuse last week. The Three-Way situation is definitely made for her to win, as she can do absolutely everything she wants. Then, Hartwell and Threat can, too. Nygma says: Nothing, because I want to watch the match to tell you more.

Joe Hendry has some things to say. I may disagree with Eric Young and his cleansing methods. Then, for those who don’t know, I don’t believe in Joe Hendry. For me, a wrestler who spends more time in NXT than in TNA is someone to “cleanse.” Nygma says: Victory Road is meant to be a good cleansing PLE. Let’s go for Hendry vs Young in a Hardcore Cleanse match with hot water, steel wool sponges, and washing powder. That would be a first, for sure.

I’ll see you on Friday for TNA iMPACT! “After The Bell.” I’ll see you back on Saturday, with all the taping session spoilers. Till then, may the Nygma be with you.
