The Path to TNA Bound For Glory has been raging on. This long road until the October 12 PLE will have another PLE stop: Victory Road on September 26. So, many things could happen until Bound For Glory. This also includes TNA iMPACT and WWE NXT every week. The iMPACT preview was clear. With six matches and a segment announced, the episode was meant for action. Let’s Nygma-dive into the TNA iMPACT results, as there are some things to say about it (as always).

Mustafa Ali faced Brian Myers, with members of both Order 4 and the System at ringside. The Great Hands helped Ali win the match. No surprise during and after the bout. Myers immediately speared Ali, and the brawl was on. Special Agent 0 dropped Moose with a headbutt before security got involved.
TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella came to announce Order 4 vs. The System in Hardcore War at Bound For Glory. Nygma says: This is how it was supposed to be and end. We just needed a Milan Miracle to seal the deal.

The Elegance Brand faced off against Masha Slamovich and The IInspiration. To make it simple, Ash, M, and H tried to retreat. The Personal Concierge interfered. He then inadvertently slid the title belt to Lee, but the referee prevented her from using it. Ash splashed champagne in Lee’s eyes, allowing M to get the win. Nygma says: Champagne is to be drunk (moderately), not to be wasted.

The Personal Concierge wanted Dani Luna to take out Indi Hartwell for good. Luna is unhinged, and the match turned into chaos. After Luna retreated to the outside, she hit Hartwell with a steel chair to cause a disqualification. After the match, Luna continued the assault with the chair. Nygma says: There was nothing else to expect from Dani Luna but chaos.
.@DaniLuna_pro is OUT OF CONTROL!

Frankie Kazarian hosted another edition of The King’s Speech. He announced that he will be challenging Steve Maclin for the TNA International Championship at Victory Road. He then welcomed former two-time TNA World Champion Mr. Anderson, who called Minneapolis his home.
Kazarian drew comparisons between Anderson and Maclin during their time in the US Army, calling them both cowards. He threatened to hurt Anderson in front of his family when Jake Something pummeled Anderson from behind. Maclin came to Anderson’s aid, sending Something over the top rope with a clothesline.
.@mrkenanderson had heard enough of @FrankieKazarian and so has TNA International Champion @SteveMaclin! @JakeSomething_

TNA newcomer (well, Ali’s Secret Service member) AJZ explained that he technically defeated Mike Santana last week after TNA World Champion Trick Williams attacked Santana. The rematch was set, and Santana won in like 30 seconds. After the bell, Santana was blindsided by NXT’s Ridge Holland, who took him out with a vicious beatdown.
Nygma says: Trick Williams, Oba Femi, Ricky Saints, Ridge Holland… NXT is about to make the Bound For Glory main event look like an uninteresting mess. Then, we all know Santana will bring the TNA World Title back home.
.@Santana_Proud was in the midst of sending the TNA World Champion a message when he was BLINDSIDED by @RidgeWWE from @WWENXT!

Judas Icarus faced his former Northern Armory’s boss, Eric Young. Even if Young Nutcracked (low blow) Icarus, Joe Hendry’s appearance changed the game and allowed Icarus to win the match. After the match, an enraged Eric Young attacked the referee. Nygma says: I was talking about “Beginner’s luck” in the preview. Icarus was just in the middle of the EY/Hendry feud and capitalized on that.
.@joehendry is here and @thejudasicarus scores the win! @TheEricYoung is FUMING!

The Nemeths were confident ahead of challenging The Hardys for the TNA World Tag Team Championship. On one hand, in Nic and Ryan’s language, we all knew what it meant. On the other hand, why Matt Cardona was on commentary was a mystery until Ryan Nemeth grabbed the title belt.
Matt Cardona then left commentary to prevent him from using it. Matt Hardy hit Ryan Nemeth with the Twist of Fate, followed by the Swanton Bomb from Jeff to retain. Nygma says: The Hardys’ retaining was a fact, like the Nemeths’ cheating.
With backup from @TheMattCardona, @MATTHARDYBRAND and @JEFFHARDYBRAND are STILL TNA World Tag Team Champions!

I’m a bit puzzled. It’s not as if this episode was bad, but it wasn’t that good. Next week is Victory Road, and Bound For Glory is three weeks away. The cards of the two events are far from complete. That’s why I don’t exactly understand what Mr. Anderson will bring to the melee, like Cardona helping the Hardys or Ridge Holland’s assault on Santana.
At the same time, Order 4 vs the System in a Hardcore War is fair. The Elegance Brand’s cheating is usual. Dani Luna shot herself in the foot, as expected. Frankie Kazarian will have a TNA International title chance against Steve Maclin. I will stop there, or this review will turn into the Monty Python’s Philosophers’ Football Match.
The name “After The Bell” may have disappeared, but the Nygma spirit of the pieces will never disappear. If you want a dishonestly honest Nygma point of view, you’ll always find it here. Next week is Victory Road, so expect all the previews, reviews, and other pieces you like. Until then, may the Nygma be with you.
So not being man enough and sneak attacking guys must be a @WWENXT thing, right?
I’m going to have to show you boys how we do it on OUR side. @ThisIsTNA
I gave you fair warning…
