TNA “Sacrifice” looms, and things heated up during Thursday’s episode of “iMPACT. Steve Maclin and TNA World Champion Mike Santana met face-to-face ahead of their title match. Also, a world championship match was added to the “Sacrifice” card.

Frankie Kazarian vs. The Home Town Man

The Home Town Man hit a back body drop on Frankie Kazarian right away. He then landed a series of elbows while his opponent was perched over the middle rope. Kazarian rebounded by landing some punches from the mount position. AJ Francis wanted to get a close look at the action, so he joined the commentary team. The Home Town Man hit a standing elbow drop, followed by an airplane spin. Kazarian looked for the chicken wing, but he was forced to kick out of a pin counter.

Kazatrian hit a springboard leg drop for a near fall. The Home Town Man went high-risk, but Francis distracted him. Francis was taken out by a dive. Kazarian took advantage by raking the eyes of his opponent. Francis yanked The Home Town Man off the apron as Kazarian went for another leg drop. The Home Town Man took advantage with a small package for the upset win.

Winner: The Home Town Man

Francis and Kazarian ambushed The Home Town Man, but Elijah made the save by slamming his guitar over the back of Francis.

The Angel Warriors Address Arianna Grace and Dani Luna

The Angel Warriors spoke to Gia Miller backstage. Lei Ying Lee said Arianna Grace stole the TNA Knockouts World Championship, while Dani Luna needed to cheat to defeat her. Brookside vowed to send a message to Grace and Luna.

Santino Books Huge Title Match for TNA Sacrifice

Santino Marella and Daria Rae were discussing TNA “Sacrifice.” Rae said Dani Luna is owed a TNA Knockouts World Championship shot. Marella pointed out that Lei Ying Lee is also owed a title shot. Marella suggested a three-way title match at “Sacrifice” between Arianna Grace, Lee, and Luna.

Mr. Elegance w/The Elegance Brand vs. Action Mike Jackson

Mr. Elegance was dropped with a hip toss. He shoved Action Mike Jackson but got sent to the outside. Jackson then hit a suicide dive. Back in the ring, Jackson targeted the arm of Mr. Elegance. Jackson held onto his opponent’s arm and walked up each top rope before landing a double ax handle. Mr. Elegance dropped Jackson with a right hand. Jackson was then slammed down by a scoop slam. He followed up with an elbow drop. Mr. Elegance then hit Excusez-moi for the finish.

Winner: Mr. Elegance

The Personal Concierge then threatened to embarrass Jackson before ODB made her way to the ring with a chair. ODB delivered two chair shots to Mr. Elegance. ODB and Jackson then poured meat on Mr. Elegance.

TNA Wrestling Runs Through The System

The System bragged about being the No. 1 contenders for the TNA World Tag Team Championship. Bear Bronson vowed to drop Jeff Hardy on his bad neck again. Cedric Alexander claimed Leon Slater has been ducking him. Eddie Edwards then warned Mike Santana that his TNA World Championship reign is on borrowed time. Brian Myers claimed he carried Moose on his back for years, but he’s a “dead man” in their singles match.

Arianna Grace w/Stacks and Dani Luna vs. The Angel Warriors

Dani Luna and Xia Brookside got the match underway. Luna displayed her power advantage, but Brookside fought off a suplex attempt. Luna lifted Brookside up, but Lei Ying Lee cut her off. The Angel Warriors hit a double suplex on Luna. Arianna Grace was tossed out of the ring. Brookside and Lee got on the apron and kicked both of their opponents. Luna had the advantage over Lee before Grace forced a tag. Luna shoved Grace, allowing Brookside to make the tag.

Luna ended up shoving her partner off the top turnbuckle. The Angel Warriors went for a double team move, but Grace made the distraction. Lee hit a cannonball on Stacks, but Luna delivered the Luna Landing on Brookside for the win.

Winners: Dani Luna and Arianna Grace

Leon Slater Wants Payback on Eric Young

Leon Slater addressed Eric Young, taking him out with a piledriver to the floor. Slater said Young could’ve ended his career. The TNA X Division Champion admitted he didn’t feel pain or fear, but he did have doubt. He then hurled an expletive at Young. He promised to show EY that he’s the youngest in charge.

Brian Myers vs. Moose

Before the match began, Santino Marella tossed The System out. Moose speared Myers right away for the quick victory.

Winner: Moose

Rosemary and Allie Speak to Raven

A new Rosemary vignette played. She summoned Allie and gave her a costume. The pair then met Raven, who ripped Tommy Dreamer’s physique. Raven handed Rosemary an item that made her quite happy.

Bear Bronson is Next for Moose

Brian Myers was heated backstage over his quick loss to Moose. The System calmed him down. Myers then said Bear Bronson will teach Moose a lesson next week.

Elayna Black vs. Jada Stone

Mara Sade was at the commentary desk for this match. Elayna Black stomped Jada Stone in the corner. She then landed a high knee for a two-count. Stone rebounded and hit a split-legged moonsault. Tasha Steelz made her way out for a distraction, allowing Black to land Blackout for the win.

Winner: Elayna Black

Trey Miguel Saves Jada Stone

Black and Sade got into an argument before TNA security intervened. Order Four surrounded the ring to try to ambush Stone before Trey Miguel ran down with a chair to chase the stable away.

Jody Threat Steps Up to Tessa Blanchard

Tessa Blanchard told Mila Moore and Victoria Crawford that they have the best seat in the house for the three-way match between Arianna Grace, Dani Luna, and Lei Ying Lee. Jody Threat, Myla Grace, and Harley Hudson stepped up to the trio. Threat suggested a match against Blanchard for next week.

The Nemeths vs. The Righteous

Vincent and Nic Nemeth were the legal men to start. Nic went for a couple of pin attempts. Vincent leaped over Nic and delivered a back elbow. Ryan was tagged in, but he quickly tagged out. Dutch hit a shoulder tackle on Nic. He then launched Vincent onto Nic.

Dutch and Ryan were in. Dutch landed corner splashes on both Nemeth brothers. He then hit an exploder suplex on Nic. Ryan ran into Death Walks, but Nic made the save. Vincent hit a diving crossbody on the Nemeths. He followed up with a side Russian leg sweep on Nic. Outside of the ring, Nic sent Dutch into the ring steps. Ryan accidentally knocked Nic off the apron. Vincent went for the pin, but Ryan kicked out, and Nic landed a cheap shot. Ryan scored the Hollywood Ending for the win.

Winners: The Nemeths

Mike Santana and Steve Maclin Meet Face-to-Face

Mike Santana and Steve Maclin were at an undisclosed location to discuss their “Sacrifice” title match. A server had drinks for Santana and Maclin. Santana said Maclin helped him prove to himself that he belonged in TNA. Santana admitted he once considered Maclin a brother.

The TNA World Champion was going to say Maclin let his pride and ego get in the way. Maclin cut him off and said Santana is the one with an ego. Maclin relived his days as a United States Marine Corps Corporal.

Both men were given their drinks. Santana said Maclin likes playing games, but he respects what he’s done. Santana said he’s long fought a war within himself. Santana said he made his past his superpower, while Maclin made his past an excuse. The TNA World Champion left money on the table without taking a sip of his drink and took credit for Maclin keeping his job.
