TNA Thursday Night iMPACT Preview (3/5/26) – Live from Atlanta
Courtesy of TNA Wrestling

On the path to TNA Rebellion, TNA Sacrifice will come in 4 weeks. TNA Wrestling has revealed some matches that will take place at the next taping session in Atlanta, GA. Moose will face Cedric Alexander in an Atlanta Street Fight. Mr. Elegance will make his iMPACT Zone debut.

Last night on NXT, nothing related to TNA Wrestling happened. Then, NXT’s Arianna Grace became the new TNA Knockouts Champion at TNA No Surrender. As long as an NXT star holds a TNA title, taking a look at what happened on NXT will be useful.

Crossing the lines also means crossing the reviews. NXT may be a WWE show; taking a look at what happens on Tuesday nights has become essential to understanding what may happen on Thursday nights. That’s never been truer, and it keeps on being bigger and bigger. Let’s Nygma-dive into it.

TNA Thursday Night iMPACT Preview (3/5/26) – The Stakes at TNA Wrestling

The action intensifies on Thursday Night iMPACT on AMC as championship stakes and rising tensions take center stage.

Four teams collide in a high-stakes Tag Team No. 1 Contender’s Match as The System, Sinner & Saint, The Righteous, and BDE & Rich Swann battle for a future shot at the title. With the division watching closely, the ring could turn into absolute chaos as every team looks to prove they belong at the top. Only one team will walk away with the opportunity.

Arianna Grace defends the Knockouts World Championship against Jody Threat in a clash with the title on the line.

Elayna Black and Mara Sadé go head-to-head in a hard-hitting showdown. Both competitors are hungry to make an impact and prove they belong in the spotlight.

Leon Slater and Nic Nemeth go head-to-head for the X-Division Championship in a high-energy showdown with the title on the line.

The King’s Speech returns with special guest Elijah, following the shocking aftermath of the brutal Guitar Case Casket Match with Mustafa Ali.

We’ll hear from TNA World Champion Mike Santana as he addresses the events that have been unfolding in recent weeks. With tensions rising and questions still lingering, the champion is set to speak.

Moose is set to make his voice heard as he addresses the recent events surrounding him.

After Ash by Elegance and Mickie James went face-to-face last week, The Elegance Brand is set to be center stage to address last week’s heated confrontation.

TNA Thursday Night iMPACT Preview (3/5/26) – The Nygma’s View

With four matches and four segments, this live episode is a monster. Because it’s live, expect the unpredictable to happen. Until TNA Sacrifice on March 27, and TNA Rebellion on April 11,  TNA Wrestling can take the time to build some rock-solid cards for the PLEs.

The Championship Matches

Jody Threat faces NXT’s Arianna Grace for the TNA Knockouts World Championship. I’m sure you see the elephants in the room as I do. First, Stacks, who is never too far from Grace. Second, Tessa Blanchard, who lost a chance to be the #1 contender because of Threat. Also, there’s Dani Luna, who earned a title chance a few weeks ago, but never cashed it in because of visa issues. Nygma says: Threat may win, but not become Champion in these circumstances.

Leon Slater puts the TNA X-Division Championship on the line against the Call You Shot trophy winner, Nic Nemeth. Once again, the elephants in the room are plenty: Ryan Nemeth, Eric Young, Steve Maclin, and, on a positive note, Mike Santana. If he wants to cash in Option C, Slater has to retain. Nygma says: Why make Nemeth become X-Division Champion when he could be World Champion? Whatever, DQ and brawl.

The Matches

Four teams for a chance to become TNA Tag Team World Champions. Who will the Hardys face? The System and the Righteous already had a chance. Sinner & Saint and BDE/Swann, never. Nygma says: Every team deserves a shot. The Righteous again would be a bit too much. The System would be an easy choice. I bet on Sinner & Saint as they have been really impressing since TNA No Surrender.

Elayna Black vs. Mara Sadè is a match that could have taken place in NXT. It’s happening on TNA Thursday Night iMPACT. Sadè eliminated Black in the Knockouts Battle Royal. The two had a war of words on iMPACT last week. It’s fight time this week. Nygma says: Nothing.

The Segments

Moose, Mike Santana, the Elegance Brand, and Elijah have some things to tell us. When it comes to Moose, it seems obvious that he has just started a war against System 2.0. Also, TNA Wrestling announced an Atlanta Street Fight between Moose and Cedric Alexander. Nygma says: In this case, 2+2 = 4.

The Elegance Brand has a problem with Mickie James. Unless they announce they quit TNA Wrestling, James will be the subject of their speech. Nygma says: Again, 2+2 = 4.

Elijah got rid of Mustafa Ali, who rests in a casket. He is Frankie Kazarian’s guest in the King’s Speech. Nygma says: Unless Ali resurrects, and the feud restarts, there’s a great chance a new feud is on the menu for the Drifter.

TNA World Champion Mike Santana has a lot of people running after him and the Championship. Nic Nemeth, Frankie Kazarian, Eddie Edwards, Leon Slater, and Steve Maclin. Due to Maclin’s attack on Tom Hannifan last week, we will probably hear from Santana about it. Nygma says: If Maclin is hired back, thanks to all he has done, Mike Santana will fall from my grace.

I’ll see you on Friday with all the results and the review. Have you read and listened to my Eddie Edwards interview? As I have already said many times, 2026 is a loaded year for TNA Wrestling. Thursday Night iMPACT on AMC era is nothing but Nygma. How else could it be? Till then, may the Nygma be with you.
