A major part of the 2025 season of WWE has concluded. Along with a couple of Saturday Night Main Events, only a big PLE, Survivor Series, is left to be concluded, apart from the weekly episodes. So far, the women's division has been booked better than the men's division with the emergence of stars very early into their careers.
From the leadup to the Royal Rumble to October, there have been many wrestlers who had a good year with some fine matches under their belt. The likes of Tiffany Stratton and Stephanie Vaquer have become champions very early on the main roster. The likes of Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair, and many others have been at their best.
Naomi had a good year in 2025, before the announcement of her unexpected pregnancy. She had a fine run as a tag team partner with Bianca Belair early in the year. What followed was her heel turn, which led to a totally new character through which she captivated the fans.
Naomi's promos were of high quality and she won the Women's Money in the Bank briefcase, which she cashed it on Iyo Sky to become the world champion. She successfully defended it against Iyo and Rhea at SummerSlam, before relinquishing the title due to her pregnancy.
Becky Lynch has elevated the Women's IC Title and made it look the most important title in all of Women's division. The Man returned at WrestleMania and won the tag team title along with Lyra Valkyria. She later took the Women's IC Title away from her. Becky's Women's IC Title run has been filled with solid matches.
Some of Becky's promos have been the best of the year. Her feud with Lyra and Maxxine Dupri helped the elevation of their careers. Despite not being in action for over 100 days, The Man made up for it when she was in action. The star wrestler is only likely to get better by the end of thr year, given she defends her title at least once in two weeks and a potential feud with AJ Lee.
Iyo Sky has been arguably the best wrestler of the year not just from WWE but across all Wrestling promotions in 2025. The star wrestler has improved massively in the year with a great character to back her up through which she has organically become over among the fans. Iyo has had no bad match in 2025 and has put on some brilliant matches.
Her matches at WrestleMania and Evolution were two of the best in 2025. While Iyo's world title run could have been better, she has been loved and appreciated by the fans. With the Survivor Series War Games yet to happen, she is only likely to have a better resume to cap off the year as arguably the best wrestler across promotions.
