Top 'AEW Dynamite' Star Inks New Deal Ahead of 'Double or Nothing 2025'
Anthony Behar

One key member of the AEW roster will be sticking around.

Fightful reports that Willow Nightingale has signed a new multiyear deal with AEW. It was noted in the report that Nightingale has been quite pleased with the company and had been planning to sign a new deal.

Nightingale is widely considered to be one of AEW's breakout babyfaces. Her popularity has spiked throughout the last couple of years, and she is well liked behind the scenes. Nightingale is regularly featured on "AEW Dynamite" and "AEW Collision," so very few are surprised by the news of her new contract.

Nightingale made her AEW debut in 2021. She was seen on "AEW Dark: Elevation" before becoming a regular character on "AEW Dynamite." Nightingale's popularity quickly rose, and she was awarded a TBS Championship run.

While her reign only lasted 35 days, it was against a major star in Mercedes Moné. Many believe the rivalry between Nightingale and Moné will be revisited at some point. Whether Nightingale ends up being the one to take Moné's TBS gold remains to be seen.

During the May 8 episode of "AEW Collision," Nightingale was defeated by Kris Statlander thanks to interference from the Death Riders. Nightingale has been feuding with the faction and has developed a rivalry with Marina Shafir.

AEW's next pay-per-view event will be "Double or Nothing 2025." There's no word on what Nightingale's role could be on the show. If she ends up being featured at the event, then many suspect Nightingale will do something involving the Death Riders.
