Top WWE Superstar Trashes Travis Scott For Ruining WrestleMania 41's Main Event
WWE

WWE appears to have quietly cut ties with Travis Scott since, after playing a key role in the main event at WrestleMania 41, the musician doesn't seem to be affiliated with the company at all. No one has really addressed the situation in an official capacity, that was until Drew McIntyre aired his grievances about the short-lived WWE crossover star this week.

Drew McIntyre Calls Out Travis Scott For His WrestleMania Run-In

McIntyre was the latest WWE Superstar to make an appearance on Impaulsive, Logan Paul's podcast. Fitting as the two of them will be teaming up to take on Jelly Roll and Randy Orton at SummerSlam. Jelly Roll was the focus of their conversation as the two of them discussed celebrities disrespecting the wrestling business, thinking they can walk in and do what they do with no training.

That's what allowed McIntyre to segue into a quick dig at Scott. Paul was discussing celebrities who just want to "get in the green room and fly on the jet" when McIntyre cut him off to talk about Scott. "Do a six-minute run-in at WrestleMania and screw up our damn main event. Travis Scott, piece of sh*t," McIntyre said before Paul continued disparaging Jelly Roll.

Travis Scott Being Shoehorned Into WWE's Marquee Storyline Angered Fans

The decision to include Scott in not only any WWE storyline, but the top angle during John Cena's retirement year, went down like a lead balloon from the start. His inclusion in what will go down in one of the greatest heel turns of all time was downright bizarre, and having him be the one to help Cena win the title in the closing match at WrestleMania 41 will not only taint that event forever, but it has also derailed Cena's retirement run.

Scott was seemingly supposed to compete in a match or two, but things didn't pan out when he didn't give training his all. It also seems incredibly likely that he was supposed to be the missing celebrity guest in WWE 2K25's first DLC pack. 2K has now announced El Grande Americano will fill that gap, but not until September.

While celebrities have been a part of wrestling since the first WrestleMania, and even earlier if you include Jerry Lawler's iconic feud with Jerry Lawler, the bar for how good they need to be has been raised significantly in recent years. Not only by Logan Paul, who is now a WWE regular, but also by Bad Bunny, who impressed in his handful of matches. It sounds like Jelly Roll has been taking their training seriously, so hopefully they'll be on Bad Bunny's level when they compete for the first time at SummerSlam.
