Two former WWE champions are reportedly on their way to the WWE Hall of Fame.
WWE has already announced two inductees in this year's Hall of Fame. Paul "Triple H" Levesque and Michelle McCool have been confirmed to receive the honors.
Now, a popular tag team appears to be on its way to the Hall of Fame, and many feel it's long overdue.
WrestleVotes reports that Earthquake and Typhoon of The Natural Disasters are set to be honored in the WWE Hall of Fame 2025. The pair are former WWE Tag Team Champions. They captured gold in 1992 and had an 85-day reign.
The Natural Disasters were formed on an episode of "Prime Time Wrestling" back in 1991. Earthquake and Typhoon were initially heels, but they turned face after their former manager Jimmy Hart betrayed them.
Earthquake and Typhoon challenged Ted DiBiase and Irwin R. Schyster of Money Inc. for the WWE Tag Team Championship. That's when The Natural Disasters held WWE gold for the first and only time.
Fans have taken to social media to share their hope that The Natural Disasters isn't the only tag team to be inducted in this year's WWE Hall of Fame. Many have called for Demolition to receive the honors, given that the team recently signed a "WWE Legends" contract.
WWE hasn't announced a date or location for the Hall of Fame. The festivities are usually held during "WrestleMania" weekend. Reports have claimed that WWE officials weren't happy with how the Hall of Fame ceremony transpired during "WrestleMania 40" weekend in Philadelphia.
