The Bloodline suffered a tragic fate when they lost a real-life member of the family. It came out earlier that one-half of the popular tag team Wild Samoans, Sika Anoa’i, has passed away at the age of 75. Ever since then, the news and rumors of Roman Reigns ‘ return have been surfacing on the internet.
According to Xero News, it is highly likely that the return of the Tribal Chief is going to be pushed for a while, keeping family matters in mind. Sika Anoa’i was the father of the Head of the Table. Therefore, it is natural that there is going to be sorrow in the family, especially for the Needle Mover.
Moreover, Sika has appeared on WWE TV several times in the past few years. He was present at the Hall of Fame ceremonies and WrestleMania. However, his last appearance was at Hell in a Cell 2021, where he acknowledged Roman Reigns as the Tribal Chief of the Bloodline by giving him Ula Fala.

Besides, the Head of the Table was rumored to return around SummerSlam. It was speculated that he would have a match at Cleveland Browns Stadium. However, it looks like that is not the case as of now. Furthermore, Cody Rhodes is also reported to face Solo Sikoa at the event, which diminishes the chance of Reigns returning before the event.
The wrestling world came together to mourn the tragic passing of Sika Anoa’i. It was a hard hit for the Bloodline, especially for Roman Reigns. Amid these tough times, the Tribal Chief penned down his thoughts over the unforeseen turn of events.
Taking it to X, the Head of the Table posted a message as a tribute to his father. He wrote that the legacy of Sika Anoa’i was impeccable. He expressed gratitude to all of his fans and everyone who reached out to him at this stage. The Needle Mover went on to say that he is positive about moving forward with the rich legacy his father has created for him as an honor.
There’s no way to fill the void left by his passing but my sisters and I will do our best to represent him and his legacy. Rest in Power, Dad. We love you. Roman Reigns (via X)
My family and I thank everyone for the outpouring of support in the name of my father, Pola'ivao Leati Sika Anoa’i, who will forever be remembered as one half of The Wild Samoans tag team. My father had a profound impact on my entire family and we are forever grateful for the…

The former Undisputed Champion added that there is no way to fill the gap his father has left for him and his family. However, he will try his best to get going at this point. There is no timetable for the comeback of the 39-year-old as of now. WWE might likely have a tribute on this week’s SmackDown to pay homage to the legend.
