Watch: Hilarious botch by current champion at the end of major title match at WWE King and Queen of the Ring
Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

This year’s King and Queen of the Ring PLE had a single bout scheduled for the pre-show. That saw the reigning Women’s Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill defend their gold against Indi Hartwell and Candice LeRae. Even though the challengers were no match for Belair and Cargill, a hilarious incident transpired during the closing stretch of that match.

As the champions planted LeRae with their finishing maneuver, there was an instance where Bianca Belair seemed jittery to close it out. As the fans know, Jade Cargill usually does a kip-up after german-suplexing her opponents. However, as she was about to do it this time around, The EST shunned her, though inadvertently. Some fans perceived it as a botchy way to conclude that fascinating-looking sequence.

The netizens on X joked that if Cargill ever turns on Bianca in the future, this would act as an impetus as to why she’d do it. Nonetheless, outside of the shenanigans, it was a decent outing for all the four women out there in Jeddah. The tag title holders have been on a roll ever since dethroning The Kabuki Warriors last month at Backlash in France.

Both Jade and Belair were also featured in this year’s Queen of the Ring tournament. On one hand, where The Storm disqualified herself in the quarterfinal against Nia Jax over the latter’s egregious demeanor with Cargill’s daughter, Belair made it to the semifinals. However, she too fell at the penultimate hurdle. Last night on SmackDown, the Knoxville-based wrestler went down fighting against The Irresistible Force, who has trumped Lyra Valkyria to become WWE’s second-ever Queen of the Ring.

What does the future hold for Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair on WWE SmackDown?

The fans would wonder what’s ahead of Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair on SmackDown. Since they’ve successfully retained their tag team gold, they’ll now have to entangle with several other women on the roster.

However, at one point, there would be some cracks, leading to a singles match between them, as the fans believe. The two women came face-to-face for the first-time-ever this year at the Royal Rumble. Just when they were about to lock it up during the Women’s Royal Rumble match, fellow competitors crashed the party.

It was then envisioned that they’ll potentially lock horns at WrestleMania XL. However, at the event, Jade and Bianca teamed up with Naomi to take on The Damage CTRL. Up until this point, it’s been nothing but smooth sailing for the incumbent Women’s doubles title holders.
