This year’s Queen of the Ring tournament was stacked from the very start. It featured stars such as Jade Cargill , Iyo Sky , and Tiffany Stratton . However, the field has narrowed down to three women only. Lyra Valkyria , who entered the competition as a ‘rookie’, has solidified her place in the finals. Now the question remains: who is going to face her in the finals?

The former NXT Women’s Champion has entered the finals from Raw. Meanwhile, Nia Jax and Bianca Belair are the only participants left from SmackDown. To be precise, it is highly likely that the Irresistible Force might take the win this Friday when she competes against the EST in the semi-finals.

There has been a constant and powerful showing from Jax lately. She recently defeated Jade Cargill on SmackDown via DQ. Despite that, the odds of Belair taking a loss are in question.

Taking that into account, WWE might book another DQ ending to pencil out the Women’s Tag Champion from the scene. Another reason for WWE not booking the former Royal Rumble winner into the finals is to perhaps avoid a babyface vs. babyface showdown this Saturday.

Moreover, Valkyria has been portrayed as a top star on Raw. Giving her a loss at this point might hurt her ongoing push. Therefore, WWE will look to book a match between her and Jax, where the Irish star achieves a long fought victory to cement her place at the top of the women’s division.

Lyra Valkyria reacts after beating Iyo Sky

Lyra Valkyria achieved one of the biggest victories of her career this week. She slayed Iyo Sky with the best of her ability and proved herself to be a rising star on the main roster. The Lady of the Opera reacted to this huge victory after Raw went off air.

Speaking on Raw Talk, the former NXT Women’s Champion expressed her enthusiasm over the victory. She said that it was a great night as she defeated a woman for whom she had much respect. Valkyria added that now her eyes are set on the finals of the tournament, as she will be walking into the bout confidently.

I just beat IYO SKY, someone I consider probably one of the best in the world. I've beaten her, and now I'm going to the Queen of the Ring finals. Lyra Valkyria

The 27-year-old star also gave a stern warning to Bianca Belair and Nia Jax. She called them out by saying that they don’t have to underestimate her as the result is going to be the same as Raw this week, even at the King and Queen of the Ring PLE.
