WWE has announced a significant championship match for "SummerSlam 2025."
Monday's episode of "Raw" featured the fallout from "Evolution 2025." At the conclusion of the PLE, Naomi stunned fans when she cashed in her MITB briefcase during the WWE Women's World Championship match between Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley. Naomi sent Ripley crashing into the ring post, which allowed her to hit the split-legged moonsault on Sky before securing the pin to become "Raw's" new top female champion.
Naomi, Sky, and Ripley all exchanged words in the ring before "Raw" general manager Adam Pearce made a colossal announcement. Naomi will defend her WWE Women's World Championship against Sky and Ripley at "SummerSlam."

At one point during the "Evolution" main event, Ripley had a visual pin over Sky after hitting a Riptide. Ripley wasn't awarded the win because referee Jessika Carr was inadvertently knocked out. Carr managed to regain consciousness when Sky hit Over The Moonsault for a near fall. That's when Naomi's music hit, and she brought out a new referee to make her cash-in official.
Naomi is currently in her third reign as a world champion in WWE. Her first run was cut short due to a knee injury. She had a far lengthier reign the second go-around. Time will tell if Naomi can maintain her hold on the gold long enough to make a title defense against Stephanie Vaquer at "Clash in Paris."
Vaquer earned the title opportunity after emerging victorious in the battle royal match at "Evolution."
