Brock Lesnar was linked to a law suit involving the former chairman of WWE, Vince McMahon. Since the law suit and Lesnar's inclusion went public, the former WWE champion has been shelved by WWE without a formal explanation for his absence.
He's only been spotted in public a handful of times, and some fans have even predicted he would return at the Royal Rumble or on the Raw on Netflix debut. So far, he has still been away from WWE programming and he has been mostly scrubbed from WWE 2K video games–with a few exceptions to the Showcase mode in WWE 2K24.
Lesnar hasn't been convicted of crime, but the controversy has seemingly kept him away from television. Amidst the controversy and Lesnar's age (47), some may wonder how interested is he in returning to WWE? Recently, Lesnar broke his silence on the matter.
Ringside News published an article discussing an encounter they recently had with Lesnar. The publication shared his "cryptic" response.
A correspondent from Ringside News spotted Lesnar at a steakhouse in Austin, Texas and asked him when he was coming back to WWE. Lesnar's replied, “We’ll see.”
Lesnar's answer was clearly less than definitive, and the situation still seems fluid. Lesnar's last WWE appearance happened at SummerSlam in 2023. While Lesnar's return would add another major name into the WWE's mix, it would also come with complications.
He and others involved are facing serious allegations. WWE is right to take this matter seriously. Will Lesnar ever return to WWE? As he said, we'll see.
