WWE is looking to trademark an interesting name.
The company filed to trademark “Raw Vault” for wrestling purposes on December 6, 2024, through attorney Lauren A. Dienes-Middlen. The news comes as the WWE Raw library will be removed from Peacock when the show moves to Netflix in January.
“Confirmed that the entire RAW library will be off Peacock with the move to Netflix,” our own Bryan Alvarez wrote to his subscribers on X.
The intended purposes of the trademark are listed as:
“Entertainment services, namely, a continuing program about sports and entertainment accessible by means of television, satellite, audio, video, web-based applications, mobile phone applications and computer networks; entertainment services, namely, television shows about sports, entertainment and general interest rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service.”
The name “Raw Vault” could be linked to WWE’s popular YouTube channel, “WWE Vault.” The channel launched in May and features matches, videos, playlists, and full events from WWE’s content library. Over the weekend, WWE Vault posted an entire classic episode of Saturday Night’s Main Event.
WWE Vault’s official channel description reads:
“Welcome to the WWE Vault channel, your number one destination for your favorite classic WWE content! Join us to experience your favorite moments and unearthed videos from throughout WWE’s illustrious history. Find your favorite series such as full matches, Top 10, Playback and more!”
