A WWE Hall of Famer and hardcore match legend was involved in a car accident.

Former three-time WWE Champion Mick Foley revealed on his Facebook page that he's currently in the hospital due to injuries sustained in a car accident. Foley provided an update on his health, and it appears he avoided a serious injury.

"I have no idea how I am still walking around after this accident," Foley wrote. "I’m in the hospital now, and I’m sore from my knees to my neck, including a minor concussion."

While Foley hasn't been seen on WWE TV since the Nov. 7, 2023 episode of "NXT," he still travels to make appearances for conventions. He was recently a guest for Nashville Celebrity Comic Con.

Foley has dealt with his share of scary incidents, but those situations usually occurred during his wrestling matches. Back in 1994, Foley's throat was tied up on the ring ropes during a match against Vader under the WCW banner. Foley was choking and had to force himself free. He ended up losing part of his ear in the process.

Then, there's the infamous Hell in a Cell match against The Undertaker back in 1998. Foley suffered a concussion and a broken tooth during the match after The Undertaker chokeslammed him through the roof of the cell structure. Foley also suffered a dislocated jaw and shoulder, internal bleeding, and bruised ribs.

Foley also received 11 unprotected chair shots to the head from The Rock during their "I Quit" match for the WWE Championship back in 1999. Eventually, WWE banned chair shots to the head, and talents are reportedly fined if they don't adhere to the rule.
