Oba Femi rules WWE NXT once again after defeating Ricky Saints at NXT Deadline on Saturday night to become a two-time NXT Champion but he has also sealed a dream match against Cody Rhodes at Saturday Night's Main Event. He has been branded a no-brainer for the main event scene on any WWE brand for years to come.
Oba will face one of WWE's biggest stars when he collides with Rhodes at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. Many believe he is bound to find similar success once he is called up permanently to the main roster and that includes Big E.
The WWE analyst, who quietly retired from in-ring competition earlier this year, knows all about making the step up from NXT to the main roster and becoming world champion. He gave a glowing verdict of the Nigerian powerhouse on X following the win over Saints:
"I see you, @Obaofwwe! A no-brainer as a main eventer on any brand he’s on. Many more world championships to come. #NXTDeadline."

Oba will get the chance to live up to Big E's words of endorsement against Rhodes in the US capital. He appeared on SmackDown on Friday night alongside Saints and the Undisputed WWE Champion informed the pair that the winner of their NXT Deadline title match faces him at Saturday Night's Main Event.
It wasn't only a big night for Oba as Je'Von Evans won the men's Iron Survivor Challenge to earn himself a shot at the NXT Championship. That will come against the new champion at New Year's Evil on January 6th, but he might just be looking over his shoulder while eyeing his first-ever singles title.
Tony D'Angelo, who many assumed was main roster-bound, made a shock return at Deadline and attacked Evans to end the show. This came after Oba had stood staring at his new challenger from the entranceway after he became the number one contender in the main event.
Oba returned to NXT last month, much to the surprise of many, after losing the NXT Championship to Saints at No Mercy. But he's now embarked on a second reign with the gold and starts off against arguably the most exciting young talent in pro wrestling.
