NXT Women’s WWE Evolution Summit Announced

An NXT women’s WWE Evolution summit is announced for later. NXT does love a good summit, so this could be very interesting.

Ricky Saints vs. The Vanity Project [Gauntlet Match]

Ricky Saints’ gauntlet match starts the show off, with NXT North American Champion Ethan Page joining the commentary team. Brad Baylor kicked things off for The Vanity Project, and Saints managed to eliminate him before taking on Ricky Smokes. The fire within Saints is clearly ignited, as he eliminates Smokes too, and the final hurdle was EVOLVE Champion, Jackson Drake.

Saints ultimately disposes of Drake too, and this earned him the right to challenge Page at The Great American Bash and choose the stipulation. Saints ultimately chose the Falls Count Anywhere stipulation.

Women’s Locker Room Segment

Zaria, Sol Ruca, Lainey Reid, Kelani Jordan, and Lola Vice are all in the locker room. They get all up in each other’s faces, with Reid in particular seeming to annoy her peers.

Jordynne Grace and Blake Monroe Look To Bond

Jordynne Grace is at the gym, and Blake Monroe, instead of also being at the gym, is at home. Monroe plans a “glamour workout” for them instead, and this is meant to connect them ahead of their tag team match at The Great American Bash.

Charlie Dempsey vs. Tavion Heights

Charlie Dempsey and Tavion Heights come out together, perhaps for the last time as the No Quarter Catch Crew. Dempsey resorts to underhanded tactics, and Heights is unable to defend himself. Eventually, Wren Sinclair throws in the towel, thus keeping Heights in the NQCC.

Hank & Tank Link with Je’Von Evans Backstage

NXT Tag Team Champions, Hank & Tank, are backstage riling each other up (with Lexis King in the background). Je’Von Evans joins the champions, and they are vibing, but Jasper Troy attacks Evans.

Mike Santana & Joe Hendry vs. The High Ryze

Although this started as a standard tag team match, the shenanigans soon came out to play. Wes Lee distracted the referee, which allowed TNA World Champion Trick Williams to attack. Despite this, Mike Santana picked up the win for himself and Joe Hendry over The High Ryze, but the numbers game was at play in a post-match beatdown.

Williams, Hendry, and Santana will have their TNA World Championship contract signing at The Great American Bash.

Oba Femi and Yoshiki Inamura Come Face-to-Face

Yoshiki Inamura immediately addresses NXT Champion Oba Femi. Never one to back down, Femi challenged Inamura to lose with the same honor he hopes to win it with. Josh Briggs, who had accompanied Inamura out to the ring, stepped to Femi, and this led to the three getting physical.

Jordynne Grace and Blake Monroe’s Glamour Workout

Grace reluctantly agrees to do things Monroe’s way, and they actually get on the same page (somewhat). They agree to embrace each other’s differences, all for the main goal at hand – to win at Great American Bash and also dethrone Jacy Jayne at Evolution.

Kelani Jordan vs. Lainey Reid

Jordan and Reid’s match was set when the two almost came to blows in that locker room segment earlier on. Jordan is highly athletic, but Reid is crafty and motivated, so this made for an intriguing match-up. Jordan ultimately picked up the victory, and Reid was attacked post-match by Thea Hail.

Jasper Troy Attacks Je’Von Evans Again!

Evans is backstage in the medical suites getting checked out following that earlier attack from Troy. As if on cue, Troy attacks Evans once more before being pulled away by officials.

The D’Angelo Family’s Last Sit-Down

Adrianna Rizzo plots a last sit-down with Tony D’Angelo, Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo, and Luca Crusifino. Rizzo leads the meeting and confirms that the three will have a triple threat next week. Tensions are still running high, but it all comes to a head next week.

Jasper Troy and Je’Von Evans Brawl in the Ring

Troy is out in the ring demanding that NXT General Manager Ava make the NXT Championship match at The Great American Bash a triple-threat match. Evans immediately rushes out, and the two brawl in the ring. The officials eventually separate them.

The Culling’s Meeting

The Culling has a meeting, with Tatum Paxley there with them. They make their plans clear – win the NXT Tag Team Championship and then win the NXT Women’s North American Championship. Now, onto the first part of that plan.

Hank & Tank (c) vs. The Culling [NXT Tag Team Championship Match]

Hank & Tank were fired up for this match, and they wasted no time getting into it with The Culling. This match was a fast-paced and action-packed affair, with Booker T inadvertently catching a stray. Sol Ruca and Zaria came out and got Izzi Dame and Tatum Paxley to brawl with them to the back, allowing Hank & Tank to successfully defend and retain their titles.

WWE Evolution Summit

Ava starts the summit and talks about the history of the Evolution PLE. Looking forward, she announces that six NXT women will be in the battle royal. Namely, they are Jaida Parker, Lola Vice, Kelani Jordan, Lash Legend, Izzi Dame, and Tatum Paxley.

Jayne and the rest of Fatal Influence come out to call out Ava. Then the rest of the ladies came out. Grace, Legend, Stephanie Vaquer, Natalya, Maxxine Dupri, Zelina Vega, Vice, Candice LeRae, Parker, Giulia, and more.

Of course, this ends in a massive brawl ahead of Evolution.
