WWE held the latest set of TV tapings for Friday’s episode of NXT Level Up from Orlando, FL, at the Performance Center before Tuesday’s episode of NXT went live on the USA Network. At the tapings, a wrestler made their in-ring debut for the promotion.
Jay Malachi was in action after making a name for himself on the independent scene. He had been offered a deal by WWE last October after participating in a trout. He was expected to report to the training facility last month.
It was later reported that it was believed he had signed with the company, which is the case. He is a former DPW Champion.
He worked a singles match at the tapings as Je'Von Evans when he wrestled Brooks Jensen. Malachi has also changed his Twitter/X profile to accompany his new ring name. Here are the other matches that took place at the tapings:
Brooks Jensen defeated Jevon Evans.
Izzi Dame vs. Gigi Dolin.
Karmen Petrovic vs. Brinley Reece.
Tyriek Igwe & Tyson Dupont vs. Hank Walker & Tank Ledger.
