WWE is planning to keep its tag team titles busy, but not necessarily at WrestleMania 41, according to the latest reports.
During the lastest podcast episode of WrestleVotes, via Wrestle Ops, the Street Profits are expected to defend the WWE Tag Team Championship on the SmackDown episode immediately preceding the two-night WrestleMania event in Las Vegas scheduled for April 19-20.
This new information changes Dave Meltze's initial report, shared on the Wrestling Observer Newsletter on April 7, which pointed toward a multi-team match taking place at WrestleMania 41 in which the Street Profits would defend their titles.
This move sets Street Profits' Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins apart from the 12 matches currently announced for the main WrestleMania card, including a separate tag title defense featuring the War Raiders against The New Day.

While initial plans had pointed to a potential multi-team ladder match at WrestleMania, the latest report suggests the match has been bumped forward to SmackDown instead.
If finalized, the Street Profits would be absent from the WrestleMania 41 card itself, despite holding the titles.
It would be their second reign as WWE Tag Team Champions during WrestleMania season following their 2021 stint as reigning champions, though their previous reign did include a match on WrestleMania 37.
As it stands, WrestleMania 41 will feature the War Raiders (Erik & Ivar) defending the World Tag Team Championship against The New Day, with WWE Women’s Tag Titles (Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez as champions vs. Gauntlet Match Winner) also in the card.
