A rumor regarding the WWE contract of a former TNA Wrestling talent has been put to rest.
WWE and TNA Wrestling may have a partnership in place, but that won't prevent certain marquee stars from jumping ship. The biggest example of that was Jordynne Grace, who made several appearances on WWE TV before signing with the company after her deal with TNA Wrestling was up.
It was mentioned in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that former TNA Wrestling President Scott D'Amore claimed that Grace is gambling on herself because she took a WWE deal worth less money than she was previously making.
Rumors then began to swirl, claiming Grace was taking a pay cut to leave TNA Wrestling in favor of a WWE contract. Fightful reports that this isn't the case. The report noted that while Grace's total income, combining her TNA deal, brand sponsorships, and outside ventures, was worth more than her WWE contract alone, WWE's deal pays more than the TNA contract.
We released an update on Fightful Select, but will clarify here as there were some confusing aggregations today.

Jordynne Grace is making more from her WWE salary than her TNA salary. She effectively took a pay cut by giving up her other ventures to join WWE.

It was also mentioned in the report that Grace is making "main roster money" despite being featured on the "WWE NXT" brand. Grace reportedly became a millionaire before she was offered a WWE contract.
Big plans are in store for Grace going into "WrestleMania 41" weekend. She will compete in a fatal four-way match for the NXT Women's Championship at "Stand & Deliver." She will take on NXT Women's Champion Stephanie Vaquer, Giulia, and Jaida Parker. The action will be held inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on April 19.
