WWE SmackDown goes live tonight from the Lenovo Center in Raleigh, North Carolina, with major intrigue surrounding Randy Orton after his cryptic phone call teased the return of a WWE legend.

Orton’s shift back into a darker persona has been met with strong fan buzz, making this one of the most anticipated SmackDown episodes in weeks. While most initially compared Orton's turn to his 2009 run, this version of Orton will feel more like an evolution than a throwback—something familiar in tone, but entirely new in execution.
