WWE SmackDown Results (9/19/25):

  • Brock Lesnar enters the building, wanting to talk to the live crowd instead of doing his exclusive, scheduled sit-down interview with Michael Cole. Lesnar would do the unthinkable and hoist Cole onto his shoulders and carry him around the ring before bringing him into the ring. Like a lamb to the slaughter, Michael Cole was at the mercy of Brock Lesnar. Cole’s commentary partner, Former NXT Tag Team Champion Corey Graves , would come to his aid. Unfortunately, it would cost him. Lesnar picked up Graves, hitting him with an F5. Lesnar would speak right into the camera, telling John Cena that it’s “D-Day tomorrow” and that he’s “out for blood” at Wrestlepalooza before destroying the PRIME stand out at ringside. Lesnar would go ballistic and F5 WWE officials who were trying to stop him.
  • Backstage, we see Brock Lesnar walking backstage. In the same area, Paul Heyman and The Vision were waiting for him. Lesnar would proceed to tell the “Oracle,” who had an evil grin on his face, that “they should talk,” before walking away.
  • To kick the action off properly, the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles are on the line as Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair defend against Chelsea Green and Alba Fyre. It was a short but impactful match. In the end, we see Flair pick up the victory for her team to retain the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship, hitting Natural Selection on Chelsea Green.
  • Fraxiom is in action next. However, Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker from The Vision would beat them down before the match even began. The “Oracle” Paul Heyman would introduce himself to the WWE Universe, running down The Usos ahead of their Wrestlepalooza tag team clash against Breakker and Reed, issuing a stern warning to Jimmy and Jey. Fraxiom would beat down Breakker and Reed, hitting them from every which way. Nick Aldis would come out and tell them that if WWE Raw superstars want to come to his show, they need to take care of business, sanctioning a tag match between The Vision and Fraxiom, and it starts ASAP.
  • The bout between The Vision and Fraxiom was competitive early on; however, Breakker and Reed’s collective power was too much to bear. Breakker would Spear Nathan Frazier, with Reed following up with a Tsunami for the win. Post-match, Heyman would get on the mic again to “issue a spoiler” to The Usos. The brothers would cut him on the titantron, saying they’re already in Indianapolis and ready to take care of business, essentially issuing their own warning to The Vision.
  • Nia Jax speaks to the WWE Universe live next. Tiffany Stratton and Jax had a heated verbal exchange, with Jade Cargill joining the party. WWE officials would pull them apart, and Nick Aldis informed that if they want to tear each other apart, they can settle it next week.
  • Sami Zayn defends the United States Championship against Carmelo Hayes in a U.S. Open Challenge. In a “Match of the Night” candidate, Sami Zayn and Carmelo Hayes went to war. This match was dead even throughout. Late in the match, Melo would hit the First 48, coming in half a second from winning the U.S. Title. Unfortunately, that would be his last gasp. After a Blue Thunder Bomb, Zayn would pin Hayes to retain the title for the third straight week.
  • To cap off the Wrestlepalooza “go-home” edition of SmackDown, Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and challenger Drew McIntyre sign on the dotted line to make it official for tomorrow night in Indianapolis. Both men recalled their history together, with Rhodes saying that they’re more alike than anyone imagined. McIntyre would hear none of it, saying that he’s hellbent on capturing the Undisputed WWE Championship, calling Rhodes the “flavor of the month,” and it’s time for a new star to take over the wheel. Rhodes acknowledged that possibility, but said he’ll make it tough for McIntyre. The two would sign the contract, and all hell broke loose as the two men brawled around the arena, as SmackDown went off the air.

That’s all for the REAL-TIME WWE SmackDown results for the September 19, 2025, episode in Toledo, Ohio.
