• Nick Aldis opened the show by announcing the main event between Drew McIntyre and Jacob Fatu would be a #1 Contender's Match for the WWE Championship.
• WWE Champion Cody Rhodes addressed the WWE Universe following his loss to Seth Rollins at Crown Jewel. Cody hyped up the main event and promised to be ready for the winner at Saturday Night's Main Event.
• Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss (c) def.Sol Ruca & Zaria to retain the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships

• Aleister Black and Zelina Vegagloated that everything has been a "calculated plan." Their on-screen alliance as husband and wife is not "new," but was "always part of the plan."

• Ilja Dragunov def. Sami Zayn to become the new United States Champion
  Solo Sikoa and the MFTs attacked both competitors after the match. The Wyatt Sicks confronted the MFTs and stared them down in the ring.

• The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelly) def. Los Garza (Angel and Berto)
• Drew McIntyredef. Cody Rhodes via disqualification
  Jacob Fatu was attacked backstage before the match. His attacker remains unknown.

• Rhodes, dressed in street clothes, faced McIntyre instead.

• Cody hit Drew with the WWE Championship to force the disqualification.
• Cody raged and continued his offense against Drew until security and officials intervened to separate them.
