WWE Star Debuts At AEW All In
WWE

It's usually a safe bet that a former WWE Superstar will show up during any given major AEW show, and that was indeed the case during this year's All In . It wasn't flaunted as a major coup, however, and was so low-key that you might not have even realized it was Jojo Offerman singing Swerve Strickland to the ring for his match against The Young Bucks.

Jojo Offerman Makes A Surprise Appearance At AEW All In

Before Strickland's proper music hit, a woman appeared at the top of the ramp and sang an abridged version of Ain't Nobody, a song made famous by Chaka Khan that has been covered by countless famous artists in the years since. If you thought to yourself that the singer looked a lot like former WWE announcer Jojo Offerman, that's because it was former WWE announcer Jojo Offerman.

Offerman didn't accompany Strickland to the ring for his match, nor is it clear what her relationship with AEW is, if there is indeed one to speak of beyond her singing a pre-entrance theme for Strickland. It may have just been a favor to Strickland and the opportunity to showcase her singing ability in front of thousands of fans and a worldwide audience.

Offerman's History With WWE And The Late Bray Wyatt

Offerman made her WWE debut in 2013, appearing on various shows in different roles before becoming a member of the company's core announce team and moving into a permanent position on Raw in 2016. Offerman quietly left the company and, other than a single dark match on Collision earlier this year, hasn't returned to AEW.

Offerman was engaged to former WWE Superstar Bray Wyatt; however, Wyatt tragically passed away suddenly at the age of 36 in 2023 before he and Offerman had the chance to get married. The two of them had two children together, and Wyatt also has two children from a previous marriage.

There's no direct connection between Wyatt and Strickland; however, the AEW star has had nothing but glowing things to say about the former Universal Champion since he passed away. Strickland has spoken highly of Wyatt in interviews, labeling him a locker room leader when they worked together in WWE, and pointing to the horror-themed work he spearheaded as an influence on his career.

That love for Wyatt may well be what Offerman and Strickland's friendship is built on. It was great to see her, albeit briefly, at All In. Hopefully, whether it be in WWE, AEW, or elsewhere, Offerman has a future in wrestling if she wants one.
