The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns has dominated professional wrestling since his debut in WWE and is currently transitioning to Hollywood. It was on the set of “Street Fighter” where Reigns got to fulfil a fantasy meeting with his doppelganger.

Reigns and Jason Momoa have a striking resemblance to one another. Both men are huge, have similar hair and beard styles, and are both of Samoan descent. “Aquaman” himself admitted in a prior interview with Chris Van Vliet that he had been made aware of the comparison.
The pair joins a star-studded ensemble cast of the 2026 Street Fighter movie, based on the beloved video game franchise. Reigns has been cast as “Akuma” whilst Momoa will play “Blanka”. The longest reigning WWE Universal Champion won’t be the only wrestler to feature in the Capcom picture. He will be joined by WWE rival Cody Rhodes, as well as New Japan star Hirooki Goto.

Having already been reduced to a part-time schedule, the Head of the Table is following the trend of pro-wrestlers transitioning to acting. Prior to 2025, Reign’s only real foray into Hollywood was his small role in the Fast and Furious spin-off “Hobbs and Shaw”.
However, this year he has appeared in “The Pickup” starring Eddie Murphy, as well as commanding the voice of Zebro Zebraxton in Disney’s “Zootopia 2”. These newfound acting opportunities could allow Reigns to follow in the footsteps of The Rock, Batista, and John Cena.
Street Fighter is set to release in theaters on October 16, 2026, and will feature a plethora of stars. This includes Noah Centino, Callina Liang, Andrew Koji, David Dastmalchian, Eric Andre, 50 Cent, Andrew Schulz, and Alexander Volkanovski, amongst others.
