WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins will step into a new arena this fall, according to Deadline's report revealing that the wrestling superstar will take on a role linked to the NFL.

Armando Tinoco of Deadline reported on Thursday that Rollins is joining the NFL Network’s "Good Morning Football" show as a guest host for the 2025–26 season, in a move that marks one of the most high-profile crossovers yet between wrestling and football media.

NFL Media confirmed the news shortly after the initial report, naming the full crew for the GMF show for the upcoming season.

Seth Rollins Brings Wrestling Flair to NFL Coverage

Deadline was first to report that Rollins, a lifelong Chicago Bears fan, will rotate alongside hosts Jamie Erdahl, Kyle Brandt, Manti Te’o, and Sherree Burruss on GMF.

Rollins is known for his energetic persona and outspoken style, which turned him into one of WWE's biggest draws and a bona fide fan favorite on previous guest appearances when partnering with the NFL and their products in the past.

Earlier this year, Rollins announced a Bears draft pick and called it “a dream come true.” He has frequently used his NFL segments to defend his team, and his steady presence within the league has led NFL Network to give him a recurring role on its flagship morning show, with appearances also set for Good Morning Football: Overtime.

Seth Rollins Will Balance Wrestling and Football

The new role comes as Rollins stands at the peak of his WWE career.

Fresh off the “Ruse of the Century” at SummerSlam, where he faked an injury to cash in Money in the Bank on CM Punk, Rollins is once again WWE’s top heel.

Rollins will defend his World Heavyweight Championship on Sunday at Clash in Paris in a fatal four-way against CM Punk, LA Knight, and Jey Uso.

The superstar wrestler previously subbed for the NFL's Rich Eisen on-air and has been a regular guest over the years, making the upcoming transition smoother.

“Good Morning Football” airs live weekdays at 8 a.m. ET on NFL Network, with replays later in the morning. "Good Morning Football: Overtime" streams weekdays at 10 a.m. ET on The Roku Channel.
