WWE Tag Team Return Revealed & Getting Name Back

The world of WWE has been changing over the last few years and with Triple H in charge of creative, people have been getting their old names back. This is happening for one tag team that has been off television for months due to injury. Let’s take a deeper dive into who is set to return and when they will be joining the main roster after being written off television.

WWE Bringing Back War Raiders

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select is reporting that the Viking Raiders (Erik & Ivar) will be returning to WWE very soon as on Fightful Select he mentioned that the tag team will be returning on WWE Monday Night RAW next week. In the “Scoop Threads” for next week’s episode, which will be taped as the company has a UK tour next week. The show will have a top contender tournament for the World Tag Team Championships to face JD McDonagh and Finn Balor.

One of the matches next week will see the Alpha Academy take on the War Raiders, meaning the tag team will regain the name they used before being called up to the main roster. The last time that the two teamed up for a match was on the Sept. 15, 2023, episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown where they lost to the former Alpha Academy (Chad Gable & Otis) in a Denver Street Fight. This will definitely be a shot in the arm for the WWE RAW tag team division.
