'You Need To Have Some Kids': Randy Orton Takes Aim & Challenges John Cena At WWE Backlash

As soon as Orton entered the ring, he went on a speech about how it's been twenty five years since he first met the current WWE Champion. Orton remarked that Cena has never changed since he met him. But he remarked that there was void in Cena's soul that only could be filled be one thing: children.

"Take it from me John. You need to have some damn kids."

Orton thinks John Cena needed to grow as a person and never having children was a reason he's grown cold. As viewers of Total Divas would know, Cena's refusal to have children was a huge wedge in his relationship with Nikki Bella. But Cena rebutted him by saying that he has been raising the children of WWE fans for decades. As he's done many times in this heel run, he fired off at some fans in the crowd

John Cena Wants To Ruin Wrestling, Randy Orton Wants To Save It For His Family

"What I am trying to do Randy Orton is when I leave here, is make sure three generations of your family is erased."

This was just one of the many barbs that John Cena dealt out to Randy Orton. Cena's major mission in his heel turn has been to "ruin wrestling". Orton made it very clear that pro wrestling means everything to him as it has been a part of his life since he was in his mother's womb. The Viper owes his entire life to pro wrestling, and that's why he is so adamant on defending it from John Cena's wrath.

While it was obvious where WWE was going with this as Orton challenged Cena to a title defense at Backlash, the route they took there was quite interesting. This is clearly showing how much these rivals have grown as early in their careers, The Viper was always seen as the immature punk who never grew up and Cena was the righteous hero.
