On July 29, we finally got the fight many wanted – as Terence Crawford faced off against Errol Spence Jr. Crawford pummelled his opponent, stopping him in round nine to become the undisputed welterweight king.

This did not stop the fight from becoming a PPV smash hit. “Tank” bossed the bout, dropping his opponent in round two and ending the fight in round seven with a beautifully timed body shot. Anthony Joshua vs. Otto Wallin was the co-main event – and under the tutelage of Ben Davison – we saw a rejuvenated AJ, who landed almost at will, whether it be to the head or the body, before Wallin’s corner waved the fight off, awarding Joshua victory before round six began.

Ramirez went into the contest as a big favourite – but Espinoza’s work in the first half of the fight and the knockdown in round twelve was enough for him to claim a big upset, with one judge scoring it 113-113, and the other two judges scoring the bout 115-111 and 114-112 for the Mexican fighter.

Edwards showed his bravery throughout the contest, but the speed, accuracy and power of “Bam” proved too much as the corner of the British fighter decided to withdraw their man before the beginning of round ten.
