Anthony Yarde (26-3, 24 KOs) has had a long period of inactivity since he was last seen in the ring.

Yarde was last seen in the ring against Ralfs Vilcans, a contest he won after the 10th round with points on the board.

Yarde rose within the ranks after he had an impressive start to his professional career when he went ahead to knock out all but one of his first 19 opponents, and along the way, collected the Southern Area, International, and European titles.

Currently 33 years old, Yarde started his boxing career at the relatively advanced age of 19 years. This did not stop him from being one of the best and most exciting talents in the sport. It just took him 12 amateur bouts him to turn pro.

Yarde has already challenged for titles twice, but on both occasions, the British fighter has fallen short. This might be a chance for the British boxer to once again put his name on the track to challenge for a title once more. With age catching up, this would be a final chance for the fighter to fulfill the dream of becoming a world champion.

Anthony Yarde will be facing Lyndon Arthur (24-2, 16 KOs) in what is set to be their third meeting. Both fighters brag about having one win over each other in their first two fights, with Arthur winning the first one and Yarde winning the second one. The third fight will be used to settle the tie.

This being a third meeting, Yarde will have to produce a spectacular if he wants to get his name in conversations among the division's top contenders. A convincing win over his opponent would help put him in line for a shot against the likes of Dmitry Bivol or David Benavidez, and this would mean a challenge for a title for the British boxer.
