No scale fails in Japan on Wednesday as the WBO welterweight title fight on Thursday morning (in the States) will be on the line when the champion Brian Norman Jr. (27-0, 21 KOs) defends his title against Jin Sasaki (19-1-1, 17 KOs).
Both fighters came underneath the welterweight limit of 147 pounds, making the main event official. This will be Norman’s second defense of his title as he will look to secure the victory and move on to a potential unification fight with one of the other champions in the division.
