Isaac Lucero vs Omar Valenzuela

There was no real feeling-out process in the opening fight of the Amazon Prime four-fight extravaganza, as Isaac Lucero (17-0, 13 KOs) and Omar Valenzuela (23-1, 20 KOs) traded eye-catching right hands in the opening round of their super welterweight clash.

In the second round, Lucero began targeting the body with some heavy-looking shots. Valenzuela had his moments, but Lucero landed a sweeping right hand that floored his fellow Mexican. Despite making the count, the 26-year-old Las Vegas native swarmed him with a barrage of punches, prompting the referee to wave the fight off. It felt a little premature, but Valenzuela was taking some heavy punishment.
