Conor Benn Spends Eubank’s Fine On A Rolls Royce; Fans React

Conor Benn mocked Chris Eubank Jr. by goading him over how he had spent his fine, which he received after Eubank had missed weight. 

Eubank defeated Benn in a unanimous decision, giving the latter his first career defeat in a thrilling contest. Eubank had to overcome several hurdles entering this fight. He was contracted to make the 160-pound limit, so he had to boil himself down as he missed weight. Eubank Jr. also had to abide by the terms of a 10-pound rehydration clause, as he was required to weigh in under that limit on the morning of the fight. 

That gave Benn a serious advantage since he was only moving up one weight class, having boxed at 154 pounds for his last two fights. Benn struggled to deal with Eubank, as the latter remained composed to secure one of the biggest wins of his career. Chris Eubank Sr. was initially against the fight over safety concerns, but he turned up to support his son. Since then, he has said he would like to see his son retire from the sport and ride off into the sunset.

However, Benn has indicated that a rematch is likely to go ahead, with speculation it could take place in September. He has now taunted Eubank about his fine by claiming he spent it on a new Rolls-Royce and used it to pay for his private jet. Benn’s stock has fallen since his failed tests for Clomiphene. While he has been cleared to box, the public have not been told the reasons why he was cleared. This does not address the serious questions of whether Clomiphene was in Benn’s system.
