Daniel Dubois Ready To Face The Big Three

Since brutally knocking out Anthony Joshua last September at Wembley Stadium, Daniel Dubois has not been in the ring. He was supposed to face Joseph Parker back in February but had to pull out a few days before the fight after he fell ill.

After pulling out of the Joseph Parker fight, rumors spread around boxing fans that the heavyweight champion was ducking people. He has decided to come out and call out the big names that he would like to face to shut the critics and stop the rumors from spreading around.

Dubois went on to call Usyk, Parker, and AJ as the opponents that are in his sights.

Though he did not call out Derek Chisora, he will likely have to face him as the IBF has confirmed that they will order him to defend the title against him by June 21, with the mandatory to be called on April 22.

After pulling out of the Joseph Parker fight, Parker went ahead and stopped his replacement, Martin Bakole in Riyadh. After this win, Parker went ahead to call out Usyk. Usyk seems to be quite a in demand as just days after this, the WBO ordered the Ukranian for a mandatory defense against the 33-year-old.

During the Joe Joyce vs Filip Hrgovic fight in Manchester, Dubois was notably present and was not shy to give an update on his future.

“I want them (Usyk, Parker or AJ). Stay tuned guys. I am coming back soon. I can’t wait to get back in there, firing on all cylinders. Back with a vengeance. I can’t wait,” said Dubois.

Dubois has been doing his part to be ready for any fight that will come to him even though he has not been in the ring for some time now as compared to his preferred opponents. His thoughts are that the fight between him and Usyk would be historic, just like the AJ one if not better.

It would be nice again to see Dubois in the ring after the performance he gave against AJ, and a rematch against the two would also be enticing as it would give the two a chance to show off and show out with AJ getting a chance of redemption too.
