After nearly three years away from the spotlight, Errol Spence Jr. is ready to return and he’s targeting a war. According to reports, Spence and Tim Tszyu have reached a deal for a junior middleweight clash this summer, setting up one of the most intriguing comeback fights in recent memory.
And if early words are any indication, neither man plans on taking a step back. Tszyu (27-3, 18 KOs) made it clear he’s ready for the challenge following a dominant 10-round shutout win over Denis Nurja in Australia.
The former WBO junior middleweight champion didn’t hesitate when asked about Spence. “I think me and Errol Spence is gonna be one helluva fight… it’s a banger.”
Known for his pressure-heavy, come-forward style, Tszyu promised exactly what fans expect: “I don’t take a backward step… if he wants to meet me at the front, bring it on.”
Spence (28-1, 22 KOs), who proudly calls himself “The Big Fish,” wasted no time firing back on social media. “You think s—t sweet… I’m a do you so bad!”
It’s the kind of tension that instantly elevates the fight a clash of pride, styles, and redemption.
