Eubank Sr. Fumes Over Son’s Egg Foul Play

Few weeks ago Chris Eubank Jr hit the headlines for slapping Conor Benn with an egg ahead of their clash in April. Speaking in an interview, Chris Eubank Senior said that he didn’t understand his son’s behavior.

“I was extremely disappointed by the incident and his choice to use profanity. Such behavior does not reflect the conduct I have instilled in him. The Eubank legacy is built on discipline, respect and professionalism. This incident falls short of those values,” said Chris Eubank Sr. Earlier he had shared a post on his social media page and engaged his followers. “What is your reaction to your son smashing an egg in Conor Benn’s face? Conor Benn is a British professional boxer and a son to the former two division world champion Nigel Benn. Out of his 23 fights, he has lost none. He had his bout an-year ago in February 3 2024 against Peter Dobson. He won by unanimous decision at the 12^th round. He’s scheduled to lock horns with Chris Eubank Jr on April 26 2025. The two were scheduled to fight in 2022 in what was billed as a continuation of their fathers two-fight rivalry that existed over three decades ago. “I rate the egg incident to be fair, it’s not really more fazed and more rattled? You look at the top of the table, what do you see? A broken team. I don’t think I’m the one that needs to keep his composure, I’m always intense, I’m always aggressive and I’m always personal. Nothing new changes for me, nothing at all. I don’t lose my head, he’s the one who needs to keep his composure. It’s very out of character for him. I’m not sure if he’s trying to sell a fight or if he thinks riling me up is going to work? It won’t, he’s an idiot!” said Conor Nigel after the egg incidence.

Chris Eubank Jr typically conducts himself with decorum just as his father but on that day he reached to a boiling point, stating that he felt alone with no support and maybe his father didn’t like him. His father also spoke about having a strained relationship with his son. “I’m a proud Black American from the Bronx New York but let me tell you I truly look up to Chris Senior, he’s the real definition of class, rough and truth all in one, love the way he talks, he’s a good example for men to follow. Oh yeah! He is also Hall of Fame master boxer,” said a YouTube follower. In January 2025, Turki Alalshikh announced on X that Eubank and Benn have accepted the fight which would take place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on April 26 2025. All eyes are yet to see what the two will bring to the ring.
