Fury Calls Out Joshua After Latest Fight Stalemate

Tyson Fury has accused Anthony Joshua of avoiding a fight after venue disagreements created fresh problems for their long-discussed heavyweight matchup.

The clash between the former champions has hit another obstacle over location. Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn is pushing for England as the host country, while Fury's team is reportedly considering Madison Square Garden in New York, according to MMA Fighting. The dispute marks the latest in a series of hurdles that have prevented the British heavyweights from meeting in the ring during their primes.

Fury's Blunt Assessment Of Joshua's Reluctance

In a social media video reported by BJPenn.com, Fury questioned Joshua's willingness to compete. "The facts are you don't want to fight," he said. "Because if you did, you'd be ready to rock and roll like I am." Fury emphasized his flexibility on location, saying he has "said 1,000 times will fight anywhere, no problem at all."

The former lineal champion escalated his criticism of both Joshua and Hearn. "I won't wait for a sausage who's been knocked spark out by Daniel Dubois," Fury said, referencing Joshua's stoppage loss last year. He also suggested Joshua should override his promoter's preferences if he genuinely wants the bout.

Both fighters recently completed tune-up bouts ahead of their planned meeting. Fury stopped Mariusz Wach before the eighth round, while Joshua survived two knockdowns to secure a second-round knockout of Kristian Prenga. The talks remain stalled despite Saudi boxing advisor Turki Alalshikh's reported financial backing for the matchup.
