The legal situation adds more uncertainty around one of boxing’s biggest stars. Gervonta Davis last fought to a majority draw against Lamont Roach Jr. in March.
Davis was also expected to face Jake Paul in a blockbuster crossover event before the matchup reportedly collapsed following the surfacing of Rossel’s allegations.
At 30-0-1 with 28 knockouts, Davis remains one of boxing’s premier attractions but his future inside and outside the ring now faces serious questions once again.
